He didn't look happy did he?

Also, I think Johnny Weird was robbed!

In skating, you get points, in the judges' minds, for things that have nothing to do with the performance. If you're the champion, extra points, you dress and act with respect to the sport, extra points. Also, they aren't going to give, say, a perfect 10 for someone in 6th place because they don't like ties. You can have 5 guys skate flawlessly, and they'll be scored according to their status and where they are in the standings. I don't think it's right, but that's the way it is. That's why you don't see many real upsets. I've seen champs actually fall down and win over someone who skated perfect.

He looked....solemn.:rotfl

Don't care for Johnny Queer. At all. Such a drama queen. Worse than hdk!:D

He's a scary, fugly drama queen. He skates well, but......:monkey4

I see. I just felt Weir deserved better than he got. Not into a podium postition because of his score on his short program but a higher score for his freeskate. He skated very, very well...other than his small, but noticable mistake on that tucked spin of all things. It seemed the crowd and announcers felt the same. There were quite a few boos. But you're right about one thing...you reap what you sow. And his unconventional and controversial style hurts him in the arena.
