Great Scott Spenser! I have GOT to have both of these excellent sculpts from you! I am a HUGE fan of Back To The Future and I've always wanted a 1/6 scale Marty McFly and Doc Emmett Brown! Please add me to your list for one unpainted head sculpt of each head. WoW! :)

What about if you can't get stuff on eBay like me? :( I have a big seller's fee that I can't pay now. So do these sellers have online stores where I can get the Marty McFly outfit? Please let me know. Thanks! :)

Thanks! I want to try and get what I can for Marty's unique movie outfit. I'll see what's left. :dunno I hope I can find it all! :)

Just wanted to share where I am so far with my Marty. I painted the head and put him on a Pro body. Shoes still need to be painted.

Great looking Marty there, Jabba. I received my heads today. I can't wait to see what my bro can do with them. Our Marty needs a new vest and then he'll be ballin'.:yess:

I am torn if I want to start these customs now.

Lol know that feeling, bought the vest took 3 dyas to decide if I was going to pay and the seller then said hes out of stock,so decided for me lol.

Looks great with the new head on it painted up nice job;)

Yeah, the vest looks great...but it's more orange that red. Marty's was more of a red color, so if we get this vest, it will need to be dyed. I'd like to get a vest too for my Marty I'll get together sometime.

Yep, RIT Scarlet dye is the way to go. For Deckard's original recipe for this figure, see page 3. For Marf's dyed vest, see page 17. For my 95% finished figure, see page 23.

Great stuff! I can't wait to get started on my own 1/6 scale Marty McFly soon! :yess:

But...I've never dyed...anything...before. What is the best way to do it MicroJow? Any help would be appreciated! Thanks again! :wave

I took a big cup (it was the large Lego pick-a-brick cup from the Lego Store,) put the vest into it, filled the cup with water until the vest was fully submerged, removed the vest, then added about 2 - 3 tablespoons of dye. Mixed it with a chop stick, then re-inserted the vest. Using a plastic fork, I stirred for about 1/2 an hour, pushing the air out of the poofy parts of the vest. Even with all of the air out, the vest wanted to rise to the top of the water so I had to keep it submerged with the fork.

After 1/2 hour - 45 minutes, I poured the dye out and soaked the vest in cold water, pouring it out and replacing the water every couple minutes, until the vest stopped 'bleeding.'

Then I squeezed out as much water as I could & left it alone overnight. Next morning, it was dry and I popped it onto Marty!
