Ok, last pics till the final product...promise.

I dyed the undershirt a darker maroon color, got some headphones and attempted to add the parsley pattern to the jacket cuffs and took a little off the vest collar.

Awesome job, Marf!! Are you going to do the dark blue triangle pattern on the sleeves? It will be the only real visible detail on the jacket, besides the lining of the cuffs which you did very well.

Thanks guys! I'm considering an attempt at adding the triangle pattern to the jacket and making the jeans a more accurate fit...but I have next to no tailoring skill :slap Maybe my wife can lend a hand...

I asked him a couple weeks ago...he said he's definitely making Doc's gear, and he's considering Marty's.

The devil is in the details but the original jacket is wac even for 1984 lol.
Damn skinny jeans are back in fashion now, maybe kids will be rocking 2 tone denim jackets, soon arghhh call the fasion police.

Honestly I would skip the triangle patterns. They are just to...idunno... 80's. :lol

I know to be totally acurate you would need to include them, but I never would have noticed without the screen cap, and I think the figure will look better without them.

I'll probably hold off on the triangles till Beto decides whether or not to make the denim jacket. Thanks for the input guys.

Since the jacket I bought is dark - about the right color for the triangle area - I was thinking of covering up those sections, then bleaching the rest to give it the two-tone look, but perhaps I'll wait for Beto, too. Guess it comes down to the price & how good it looks (which I have no doubt will be superb!)
