I never finished the X-Files. When I was a kid, I remember my parents watching it every Friday (?) on Fox. It freaked me out half the time, but I loved the 'Black Oil' arcs for some reason. I tried rewatching it all a few years, but never finished. Need to try again.

well it didnt end so well....but first 5 seasons are masterpieces.

Buffy has been great all the way through. sux i missed it when it first aired, but im happy now that im watching it.

Well that sucks to hear. I'll have to check it out someday though.

Just finished another one of the memorable moments: The church scene where Buffy realizes Spike got his soul back (from 'Beneath You'.)

Just 5 minutes of awe-inspiring dialogue and visuals. I love that scene.

So I just had a 'moment' myself....

I'm on S7, episode 'Help,' and there's NO HOWL in opening sequence. I don't ever remember noticing that before!!

This is kinda big news for me. I've revisited the show numerous times, but never caught this midway thru S7.

lol. i didnt notice it. Ill have to check myself. sometimes fast forward the opening. but i notice little changes in it sometimes. And that was a great episode!!!

I think S4 is my fave season. I love the ep where they have Spike tied up in Giles' place. Cracks me up everytime.

S4 gets better with age, IMO. I enjoyed it quite a bit.

Didnt mind S5 as well, love the concept of the magic shop as the new hangout. I think ive hammered Seasons 1,2 3 so much that S4 and S5 are real fun to watch now. Its taking me longer to warm up to S6 and S7.
have also been meaning to watch X Files right through again, just havent had a chance yet.

Didnt mind S5 as well, love the concept of the magic shop as the new hangout. I think ive hammered Seasons 1,2 3 so much that S4 and S5 are real fun to watch now. Its taking me longer to warm up to S6 and S7.
have also been meaning to watch X Files right through again, just havent had a chance yet.

I struggled a bit getting into S6. It finishes nicely, but I struggled to get into it (once past the first few episodes.)

S7 starts off quick, and I must admit I forgot how good it was (or at least appreciate it even more than I did before.)

Love season 6 & 7!! I can't really say which is a favorite because i love the entire series.

but the entire ending to season 6 was shocking!!!! i think that was probably my favorite of all the season endings.

I cant believe Im almost at the end. I have no idea whats going to happen. The new school principal, i cant tell at all if he's good or bad...LoL.

The wardrobes in those early seasons were some of my favorite parts! It takes me back to when I was younger. So many good memories.

That's what I love about this show. I grew up with these characters and little things like wardrobes and such take me back. I basically grew up with them. I remember the first time I saw Buffy and being floored at how good it was. The characters were so easy to relate to. Sure, they fought vampires, demons, and such, but at the core of it all, they were still regular people with regular 'growing pains' and every day problems. I've yet to see another show capture that kind of essence. Part of that could be because I've grown up, but I still truly feel that BTVS was one of kind, something we'll probably never see the likes of in our generation.
