I know what you mean barry. I`m still working on mine because of his face that`s the hardest thing to do because of the shape and his eyes

if your attaching fur in sections i suggest doing eyes and mouth 1st since you can layer under them like any fury creature.

HI all, I posted in another thread. Thought I would share. I was going to use the same method of using the old fury Chewbacca's as described in this thread. However. I decided to be creative. I used an old 13 inch crappy hasbro chewie. I only used the accessories, head and feet. The body is an old bespin luke sidshow figure. I extended the arms and legs using, epoxy, electrical tape and a lot of love. The hair is women's hair extension I found at the dollar store. The fact that he is so hairy allows you to get away with some disproportionate areas. Anyhow, here's what he looks like!The process is a pain in the ass though. Pretty happy with how it turned out so far. Might make some modifications though. It's also just under 14 inches tall!

Looks pretty darn good to me, though I may suggested to give him a trim on the longer pieces of hair that are starting to curl.

Okay, I worked long and hard on this, and though I still need to do a bit of work on the bowcaster I can't think of a better time to post pics of my Chewbacca than May the 4th! So here he is:
