Looking great WG. You could easily make the hacker pouch and eagle yourself, then he would be finished.

I'm pretty much finished adding the details to Hudsons gear, just waiting to get my headsculpt from Darren :rock

No Halloween parties on Wednesday, so I built RIPLEY instead...

2 ways to go. Any advice from you guys?

OK, so what about this pose?

I kinda like it. It seems very Ripley to me.

Not a great action-pose for battling aliens with the marines, I'll admit. But I got the PL Ripley for that -- she'll be dirty, sweaty, ripped t-shirt and all.

Wor-Gar, get your head Lesterized and that hands in pocket pose will look freaking cool, not saying it looks bad now, just the HT paint apps really lose the character in the face so there's a bit of contrast between the "don't **** with me" stance and the "where's Ken?" face.

Thanks guys! :)

And yes, Sean, I do plan to get that face redone by the master...just waiting for him to free up his schedule.

Even though that last pose is more of a stand-alone pose, I do think I'll stick with it. At least until I can get some plain HT female hands to replace those ridiculous motorcycle gloves... for now it's a solution.

I don't think it's a stand alone pose. If you did like a bowling pin setup with the HT marines and her, put her in the middle with marine's flanking her on either side, she'd look like a strong leader of the pack, which she was, you could even have that pose with her and Hicks back to back and just turn her head a bit forward and have 2 leaders of the group.

This has indeed been done...

I like that. Did you bleach out her uniform? It looks better.

I gave her BDUs a paint-wash with diluted white and a little gray.

Here's a few more futzed pictures:

I photoshopped the skin color a bit to match, best I could, until I get a repaint.

These ladies need some serious facial work. :)

Nice work Wor-Gar! I want to bleach out my Vasquez's BDUs too. Hey, where did you find her pistol? I want to get the more "movie-accurate" one like you have with the white pistol grip. Also, where did you get the chest holster/harness? Or, did you make it? If so...how, and what materials did you use? I want to make or buy that chest harness/holster too. Let me know. Thanks!

Damn WG, you did a fantatsic job on fabricating that chest holster . .. looks perfect. The bdus look very authentic too thanks to the paint wash, did you add the "LOCO" motif on the back of her shirt?

If only it was easy to find a loose Vas headsculpt, I could make a custom of her in that configuration.

Loving the Ripley fig too and the jacket looks fine to me in the photos. Just get those heads painted up and your ready to rock and roll.

Thanks man. Yep, "Loco" on back. I need to take a picture from the back.

Now what the heck do I do with Vas' smartgun rig???

The BDU's look great! What was your paint wash proceedure?

Heavily diluted white paint with a touch of gray -- soaked first, dried with hairblower, then less diluted wash brushed on in specific dark-camo areas and left to air dry.
