Anyone know if $92 is a good price for a Hudson Head, Body (minus hands and feet), Chest Armor, and Pants/Shirt?

Inspired by the great Futz King Wor-Gar, my Hudson now has a weathered arm gauze wrap and white wrist band. Hicks also now sports a white wristband. I decided to use adhesive tape strips for the wristbands as the gauze may lose shape and the edges tend to fray... :D

Those little details make a huge difference. Thank you WG!

Hes a couple of pics of my 90% finished headset Im making for Les, mine is still in bits lol Anyone know of a paint that mtches pretty well with the Hot Toys pulse rifle, tracker etc? I do have a tin of the actual paint used on these in the movie but to the naked eye and in natural light it looks very different.

that looks outstanding!!! sorry, can't help you on the paint... but that looks outstanding!!!

Thanks Reinhardt, appreciate it. I wish I could do a run of these for people but each one has to be built from scratch and are quite labour intensive. I dont have the time sadly.

I have a question for you guys on the value prices on these marines?. What you would pay for these MIB unassembled or Loose?. Thanks Jim :D.

With ebay the prices are eratic from buyers really wanting these and sometimes paying double for them. Hard to judge what they are really worth and to make offers to people for me anyway.

that's cool Stendec. I'll just take yours then.

:lol:lol

:lol:lol:lol

I painted a belt tool in the Humbrol Brown Bess paint to see if it would be a good match to use on the headset. It know for a fact that this is the paint used on the USCM gear in the movie but it is nortorious for looking different when photographed and in different lighting. In this pic it doesn't look too bad next to the Pulse rifle whilst to the naked eye it there is a stark difference . . . very strange. I'l probably use this anyway in the end since it is the "correct" paint I guess, kinda makes it more cool lol

Boba Fett, I cant really be much help to you becasue I am in the Uk and we pay more over here regardless since prices seem to translate directly from dollars to pounds :( There are alot of other factors too, MIB versus modified/accurized etc.

I recommend you go to ebay and search completed listings for each item to get this info... its still your best source. :D

there are colors that match in that line :)

yea the prices do seem to jump arround.. I found in a past auction a Ripley that sold for Buy it now $50..

this might be a dumb question, but what is the screwdriver that comes with Hicks and Apone for? Apone even came with 2 screws.

The screwdriver was for fastening the chest and back pieces of their bodies together. Did yours come already assembled or something? The second series did, but both Apone and Hicks had to be snapped together first, then secured with the screws. The screwdriver is in scale with the figures, so I stuck it in one of Apone's cargo pockets. Hope that answered your question!:D

Thanks bro! i don't remember if the chest came unattached, but if they did, i just snapped them together. didn't realize i had to screw them together. hopefully it'll hold. I did add teh screw driver to their belts though, and it looks great.

It must be screwed together already, the snaps alone aren't strong enough to hold the body together when you move the arms.

let's hope so!

my marines are almost complete, and as soon as they are, i'll be taking a boatload of pics, with Hurricane's brilliant shoulder lamps and all.
