Still some work left to be done, but he's pretty complete, I think.
I've made him little bit more muddy than the others, but put less scratches.
Also, deleted the lock on chest and key on balls.

I've got pretty good addition into the list at post #3.
Just noticed that there is a connection cable that goes from the center of the back packs of USCM's and runs inside the armor from the left.
I've used the wire in the black rubber covering to imitate it.
See it? I've made this wire to all my marines.

Also, I saw it on customs, but it's not in the list:
Hicks has the golden plate on his heart image on armor. The one with lock. HT painted it into silver, but it should be gold-colored. It's too late to upload the shot from the movie, but it's true, believe me. The lock itself painted OK, I think.
And have anybody seen the correct 1/6 S&W M39 handgun?

I doubt so. They have too many licenses and too many blockbusters that they're trying to embrace. And the quality getting weird time to time. So I don't think that they'll re-do marines again, not in a close future anyway.

Oh and here is a little film continuity stuff up. Drake has a flame thrower when they go in the nest and when they come out right.
Well if you watch through the parts that focus on him when they're retreating he has a flame thrower, then he doesn't , then he does.

Here is the only marine I have left.
Lots of work and he's still not finished.
It has a custom stoner Head painted and sculpted by me.
I also added the sandy brown colored camo pattern which is color accurate to the film which was the weathered with black paint.
I also added a custom knife and made the pouch with lock which is movie accurate.
Painted the pad lock the correct color
Added a white wrist band to right wrist
Painted the grenades the right color
He is on a HT wolverine body.
I also completely changed the BDU's on him because the camo color on the originals are pretty bad.
I also shortened and rolled the sleeves higher just like in the movie.
I still have to paint the kanji and "lifer" on the back of his armor and do all the nicks and dents in the armor and put his social security number tattoo on his arm.

Hell yeah! Thanks, Dano! That's exact what I needed. Already put some GRRRR on handle and will search the shot of the cap thiw weekend.
And you're pretty right about the flamethrower, coz when Drake got the acid on his face, he grabbed it and burned to hell everything around. So yes, it's a good idea to give him some extra flamethrower. And it's good that we have some nice copies in stock on the e-bay.

New muscular body fits him great! I've made mine on the Advanced and now thinking pretty hard how to hide both elbow joints. Yours has no problem like this. Wish you to finish him soon!

Hell yeah! I'm totally agree with you. My personal value celling for the 1/6 (including customs) - is 600$. That's the maximum price that I'm ready to give for... well... let's be honest! - for a doll!

Great job on all the customs everybody and thanks for sharing all your pix and little tidbits on details. I haven't done one single thing to customize any of my Aliens figs and I still think they look great all together with the power-loader. I recently got a TTM-16 that I want to switch out on my Hicks though.
