I think it performed exactly where it should have when you release a movie like this, on a holiday weekend, with Mary Poppins and Aquaman.

This was surprisingly better than I thought it would be

Mainly because of its showcasing of the nostalgic design and dialogue of the original series.

A lot of lady porn in this movie, you could tell it was written by a chick ( let’s ruin the mean girls car because she hurt our feelings.... yuck)

Stick to the 80s

I loved that the actress actually made me believe I was watching something from the 80s. This is refreshing compared to films as of late that do very little in setting the tone... ie the bastardized XMEN Apocalypse movie that had zero 80s undertones.
