Final sculpt. Its not perfect, but it is as close as I am going to get with the base head its on. I'm happy with it though. I think with a decent paint job, I think it will look close enough.

DUDE! Fantastic work, you really nailed this man. :rock

I wish you could mold that thing, I'd sooo want a casting of it. It's too freakin badass for words. Cannot wait to see it painted.

Hey Josh, if you would be willing to do the castings, I'd gladly send it to you to cast it up!

I've just got a few coats of white paint on the mask (white is a weak paint color as I'm sure you are all too aware) and a dark brown for the hair base. Going to work on it some more now. Pics coming later...

He is done :D Looks much better painted, even with my humble painting skills. Luckily the paint is meant to look sloppy, so even my painting skills work. Overall I'm very happy with it. Its not perfect, but with the limited references and little screen time this guy will get, I think I did a darn good job with it.

If I can get ahold of a buck head, I might just try and tackle some of the other Goon masks.

damn BM that sculpt is crazy good. the hair turned out perfect.

Man, that looks freakin great. If you do want me to cast it for you... I can do that. I will just make a cast for myself and send the mold and original back to you. I'll even let you know what to use for making casts of your own. Maybe you could make a few bucks with it. :rock

That would be awesome! I sent you a PM a few days ago. LMK if you didn't get it and I'll send you another.

Figured I'd try a removable mask with the Bank Robbery Joker. So here is him without the mask (haven't started on it yet, its proving very difficult since I can't apply the sculpy to the face). He has his hair slicked back in this scene because of the mask, so that is why his hair isn't all crazy. I know my painting sucks (especially the eyes) but I think it gets the point across. And I know it doesn't look like Heath, thats because I just altered the Eddie Rickenbacker sculpt (much, much better than my first attept of him! :lol).

Anyone got any tips on making a mask that would fit on the Joker's face without being built upon the Joker's face? I've tried covering the face with ceranwrap, but the sculpt always crumbles to pieces when I try take it off.

I'm no expert on this stuff (at all!) but what about making a mold of the joker head so then you can have a few copies and try making a mask on one of the duplicates?

That might work, but then I still would have the issue of removing the mask from the casting. Either that, or I could just make it alternate heads at that point.

:dunno

Spray a lot of PAM onto the head sculpt? :lol Who knows, might be crazy enough to work! :banana
