Just playing devil's advocate here so don't get mad...
...but what other things? It's a booth at SDCC. There are limited functions. As someone who's worked a booth there (and a darn busy one with lots of products) for a decade.... you pretty much take orders and talk about product/answer questions. The set-up is done. I know Sideshow passes out GCs and holds some booth contests, but I can't imagine those were so demanding they had to stop taking orders to divert employee hours to help in those areas.
Not taking orders there means one thing... less employees working. Less overhead in the way of salaries, hotel reservations, food etc. same with not offering attendee pickup of exclusives. It's a cost cutting method. And let me say there's nothing wrong with that. But let's call it what it is.
