i swear that the controls were off on BO because i was dominating a lot of rooms with mw2 and all the other COD games. then, BO comes along and i wanted to throw the controller. i use a mouse on my ps3 and i felt like it was never accurate on that game. i could care less about BO2 because of those very reasons. also, trearch ruined the multiple ps3 map pack downloads in psn because there fn crybabies. i wont give trearch a friggin dime of my money. "F" them to the fullest.

I don't think it was the controls as much as the hit detection IMO. When I shot people in CoD 4 and MW2, it felt like my bullets were counting, but with BO, it always felt random. Something in the Treyarch code is just broken. Add in just a little lag and it feels like chance when I kill guys. One guy takes 8 bullets and the next takes 1 or 2. It always left me feeling indifferent about every kill I got. No satisfaction from it and that's why I play shooters online. It's a nice feeling to aim and fire and beat the guy who's aiming and firing at you. In BO, that always seemed more like a dice roll to me.

i didnt think of that maybe my aim was dead on and it wouldnt register properly. im telling you BO made me hate COD. i just couldnt get into MW3 after that game. i even told my friends i had no plans on buying MW3 but gave in because everyone else was playing it. im an online gamer. when i started MW3 i had a poor attitude toward it and eventually just put it down. i didnt want to get that losing feeling again. when your KDR is bigger on the deaths side its time to pack it up. im not gonna bother anymore. BO made me feel like a rape victim with only hollow feelings inside about COD. i will say that MW3 was leaps and bounds better. not a fan at all of the new COD elite either. BUY THE MAP PACKS BEFORE WE RELEASE THEM AND TOO BAD IF THEY SUCK. FU. THANX BUDS. i seriously dont think so.

That's odd. For me, MW3 was hands down the worst CoD I ever played. (like you) But the first Black Ops actually changed things a bit, I liked it a lot. I switched over to BF3 last year (much better game for my style). But I still put CoD in once in a while.

I'd rank CoD's in this order:

1. COD 4
2. BLOPS
3. COD2
4. WAW
5. MW2
6. MW3

dude, i still play cod classic cause its more fun. there r still people playing it! i like that one the best. none of this cheating: perks, killstreaks, arial support, stupid gadgets, secret areas, or any of that bs. youre an american, german, or russian and you get a couple of guns. thats where the real skill is. i dont like games that play games for me. you get all caught up in why the computer didnt kill as many people for you and dumb crap like that with the other ones. killstreaks are for people who want autopilot kills after they get their few in a rows and deathstreaks are for people who suck so bad they need a helping hand to get kills. i feel like these guys who are so damn good wouldnt be so good if you took all that crap completely away.

It was always a frustration for me, because I actually liked alot of the things Treyarch did in BO. No stackable killstreaks, slight nerf to overall damage, customization options, theater mode, combat training, no abuse of quick scoping, overall nerf of killstreaks so they weren't OP etc. I liked the maps ok too for the most part. It should've been great, but once I start firing my gun, it just felt wrong to me.

I can only hope that it changes with BO 2, but I doubt it will. Treyarch is always altering the engine with each release and it feels more out of whack with what CoD is suppose to feel like to me each time out. If my bullets count (or at least feel like they) maybe I'll have fun with CoD again.

"just is" is just right. MW2 was truly something special, and it cannot regain that juice every again. It's time to move on from that formula and just leave that dead horse alone.

If you say you don't like COD since whenever you stopped liking it and say you won't buy black ops 2 then don't! You better not change your mind though after it comes out and that's all your friends and everyone you know is talking about it. As for me I've played since the first. I've enjoyed them all. Some more than others. The campaign looks like crap to me for black ops 2 but who knows I might enjoy it. Really buying it for the multiplayer.

Seems to me you just can't adapt to a more advanced game. You like basic because that's where your skill level is at. If you're getting owned with MW3 killstreaks etc then yea pack it up and go back to MW.

Haha well personally I am buying it to play with my friends only. I enjoy playing games with my friends even if I don't think they are the master pieces people claim they are. Now I agree with them when they say COD4 and Cod2 were, but not the newest ones. Not even close. Right now I'm playing Valkyria Chronicles so when my friends aren't on I will probably be investing my time in VC. Unless the 4z4 mode turns out amazing.

um wut? the game has been the same for over 10 years what planet have you been on? i had no issue w/ mw3 i said i didnt care for it because bo sucked that bad. my skills are pretty damn good. i have no shame at all in my gaming. your basic. im not getting owned with killstreaks, when did i ever say that? i said theyre stupid it takes the "skill" out of the game. i cant believe you made that many posts and dont bother actually reading the threads. i can throw plenty of killstreaks on your ass. you love them cause with out them your talent is miniscule to mine.
