team defender is my favorite mode and only MW3 delivers.
MW2 is epic for single player MW3 epic for online.

MW3 was the first CoD game I skipped. I don't miss it. If it ever goes on sale for Steam for $5 I may pick it up.

Just watched some video for the first time hehe. Yeah, I haven't been following this thing. Couple observations based on the footage.

Bullet damage has been buffed. Guns seem to kill about as fast as they did in MW2.

Virtually no recoil. Laser rifles from MW2 are back. Saw a tiny bit of recoil once in a while, but it was always just a slight vertical bounce. Nothing really.

Quickscoping is back. Treyarch went out of their way to make it impossible before, but I guess the backlash made them wuss out and out it back in.

Killstreaks stack again. Not only that, but once you go through them, they cycle back to the first without having to die. Campers everywhere are rejoicing. Thanks Treyarch. From what I hear, camping is already rampant according to the people who got the game early.

Killstreaks (like everything else) have been given a buff. I'm guessing Treyarch was modeling this game on MW2.

Without sounding like a troll, the fact we are talking about a new call of duty game when the game is days from launch and this thread is only 10 pages long speaks for itself.
This will be the first Cod I will skip this year as it just doesn't grab me anymore.
I long for it to be re done and given its wow factor back that was lost 4 episodes or so ago.
Anyway, have fun playing guys.

Not sure that means too much. The video game section doesn't usually have all that much pre-release chat for anything. We don't even have a Madden thread I don't think. Some movie threads for popular movies never take off.

I think it looks good pretty good. Probably not terribly innovative -- but neither is Madden or FIFA or NBA 2k every year. The format works. The futurewar thing seems to be an interesting departure.

Who here is getting this for xbox 360? I can't wait to try out the 4v4 with zombies mode. Looks like itll be a blast. Also the party games will be fun no doubt. Was my favorite game modes in the first black ops.

its very similar to mw3,campers galore, very random respawing,99% of your deaths will come from behind you! and f-22 jet killstreaks constantly doin you from above! feels like the same 5 maps over and over on groundwar!
