Loved the shower scene part. Enjoyed playing that very much and picked up on the reference right away. I kept shouting at the TV "I will not give that order!"

Yeah, that was slick. Felt like Michael Biehn for a small second. Dude, that made the game for me; that and other scenes.

MW3 campaigns may not be a puzzle game like Portal but it does well with its cinematic story telling and making you very much involved in that story.

I'm good just a bit excited about the COD MW3 release. Yes it is a shame we can't play together now but I've been on Xbox live since day one. I had a PS3 but I sold it to my brother. I do plan on getting one back cause I do consider my self a gamer and not a fan boy to just one console. I plan on playing uncharted 1 and 3 I've beaten 2 and God of War. I have few Sony titles lined up that I want to play like Infamous 2, Kill zone 3, uncharted 3, Metal Gear Solid HD, Shadow of the Colossus HD. I also am looking forward to The Zelda Skyward Sword for the wii.

I'm off to the midnight release. Meeting up with a few friends, going to the pub before meeting up with our friend who works at Gamemania, we'll play a bit there and then head home to play until we run out of bottles to piss in.

My only gaming gripe in the past few years has been EA's tight grip on the Madden series. I refuse to buy any updates of it. You wan't to talk about a tired franchise that is it IMO. However, I understand people will eat it up every year because it's all they got.

I've refused to play Madden games since they bought exclusive rights to the NFL. I was a huge fan of the Sega NFL 2K games, and I usually bought both games just because the stiff competition meant they both had to step up their product every year. Now it just seems that EA just phones it in, makes the graphics pretty, and adds the new rosters to each year's release.

Been calling around my local EB Games, Futureshop, and Bestbuy...they all predict people lining up at least 3 hours before midnight... no way I'm standing out in the cold for 3 hours

That was a unique case. No one thought Dead Island was going to sell that well and it took every store by surprise. I doubt MW3 will be underestimated.
