Another thing you can do is plug in your headset and not put it on or if your playing with friends, just go into a private chat. I was stuck on a team with some little kids earlier and they all sounded the same haha.

Me and a buddy of mine sunk many hours into combat training on Black Ops! Its good practice, not to mention you didn't have to deal with interacting with 10 year olds.

Yeah, I had so much fun with Combat Training. I think the only reason, MW3 doesn't have it is because IW doesn't want to directly copy something Treyarch did. As a matter of pride or something. I really believe that. Otherwise, why not include a popular mode. I see a lot of people going "where's combat training!?" and there's no good answer I can think other than that. Im certain the next Treyarch CoD will have it again.

I actually had no idea that combat training was this popular. My only gripe with it was that you could not prestige, so after time it started to get boring. The leveling up system for the guns in Black Ops is really what kept me from getting involved in the multiplayer. I'm not sure exactly how many hours I had in the multiplayer (probably a few days total) but it seemed like it took everything I had to get myself to play it.

This is what I do. Does anyone else remember the LIVE days when voice masking was enabled?? There was so much lag because everybody had it turned on and wouldn't shut up because they thought it was cool to hear themselves.

I may be wrong here but can't you just turn the "mic volume" down in options? No more muting everybody in the lobby. I know you could do it on MW2

Has anyone on here pay'd for Elite yet, I'm going to get it tomorrow but none of my tight COD buddies will buy it, even though they love the game. I need some new maps to play, freshen things up, even if it means playing as a loner.

Several of us have elite, I'm sure you could at least catch one of us playing at times.

Yep...sounds right. Feb. 28th for PS3 Elite users.

I've got to get me a new controller...my RB button doesn't work so I can't throw any nades or c4 which sucks because a few of you know I'm surgical with my c4's!

Can anyone one help me out with this...

So a bunch of us play MW3 after we get off of work. Majority of us can connect to the game invites that friends send out...but it's just a select few people that those invites don't work for some reason. For example me and chris can never join up on each other's game invites...it doesnt matter if i invite him or he invites me, it wont work. But we both can connect to the 6 other friends that send us invites. Then ken and trey can't connect to each other at all either.

So this makes having group play pretty difficult if certain people are not there to invite everyone.

Does this happen to you guys too? And anyone know what the problem is? We are all in hawaii and live within 30 miles of each other so i dont see what the problem with connectivity is. and all of us have Open NAT types.

Had this problem with a older router I had I dont know why it would make a difference but when I used this router Josh could not join a party I hosted, I could not join a party Lonnie or Josh hosted but we all could join up in someone else's party and it would work fine. This also worked for games we played so someone else would have to host or I could not join. Bought a new router and that solved the problem.

I dont know if that is your problem but it is something to look at because I also had an open NAT with the router I had it just hated connecting to Josh and Lonnie's games.

Nash, have everyone check their NAT settings and make sure they are set to "open".

I have seen some people not be able to connect to each other or have very bad lag when they do like myself and josh. Does anyone there have a much slower connection that could be causing an issue?

What type of router did you have while experiencing this?

Mine is a old Linksys standard router. not sure what my friends' is but i'll find out since changing routers solved the problem for you.

Everyone is set to open, that's the first thing we all made sure of. so it must be xbox live or like kain said, the routers...
