Almost 100 figures?

Amateur.

I'm getting to that point too, but I'm pulled in both directions. I'm having to resist ordering new stuff as well as feeling I should be cancelling other stuff. Like the Saruman diorama is great - but I said I wouldn't get into the LotR dioramas. But if I get that one I have to get the Aragorn one. And if I get those 2, why not Obi vs. Ani - that one is so cool. And if that one, well, it really needs the Yoda vs. Dooku to complement it. But right now I'm debating cancelling the WoW diorama and the new X-Men vs.

I'v also been on a canceling spree this past month. This is most of what got canceld...

Gandalf Excl. LSB
Rocky LSB
Bossk 1:1 Bust (will get it later)
Darkness Excl. PF (will get it later)
Shaun Of The Dead figures
Aliens Diorama
Robocop Excl. PF

And there's a few more that i think i won't be able to afford when time comes but i will keep them for now.

It does feel liberating when you trim the fat and cancel stuff. I cut alot of fat off myself.

All I have on pre-order right now is:

Yoda VS Dooku (Bronze) , which I may or may not keep.
Gandalf the White p.f.
and
The Godfather p.f.

everything esle got the old axe.

I canceled the alien dios and props.

Not to mention I just sold some high priced items, clone 5 pack for $700 and MR Gree helmet for $600. gotta love it!

You'll regret it!!! I bet once some of those items are released you'll want them again after seeing the photos!

I'd especially keep the Takara Bats and the AvP stuff. Takara Batman has been the most sought-after 12'' version of Batman Begins, this really is a great opportunity to get that figure!

The AvP stuff, Wolf and the PredAlien are must-haves to me!

Revoltech is pretty popular and those figures are constantly being increased in quantity...I have no doubt that the TF figures will be all over.

Will Turner and Shaun of the Dead figures will probably be easy to find. Turner is popular, but not as much as Jack!

But hey! To each their own. I see a lot of people here have real diverse franchises they collect from. I stick to mainly Aliens,Predator,GI Joe and Superheroes.

Yeah, I cancelled the Shawn of the Dead stuff also... I'm rounding out around 40 figures... I got all the of the AVP-R stuff because I'm hyped for new movie. I'm getting the new Superman Returns stuff from HT, which really mucked me up because, I wasn't expected then and being Superman it's a must have for me... So that's ripped into me the most... I also cancelled HT FB Rambo (jacket version) & Medicom SM3 Peter Parker... I'm also planning on selling my original Superman Returns & My Dr No figure, only Villain in my collection, Love him but it doesn't make sense keeping him. I'm also think about spelling all of my 7" DC Direct & figures and stuff... They are all in boxes and I honestly can' see myself displaying them or bring them back out. So I'll probably sell some on ebay and some through a second hand seller.

As much as this pains me to say, but I too will be cancelling the SOTD line. They are coming out at the same time as HT Jack V 2.0 and he's a much better looking collectible. I rather my points go to him. I also believe Shaun might be made into a PF, and I would sooner own him as a PF vs. a 1/6 scale figure.

Canceling does feel good, but only if you get the 15-20 day notice with it. At least then you know if you can hack it or not.

I canceled a few items already, the most recent being the Scout Trooper PF. There is just no room for it, plus there is no way I can afford paying $288 for the first month's FlexPay, then pay another $108 for the first month's Flex payment of The Thing PF, the week after. :monkey4

Unfortunately, I lost out on $20 from the canceling fee.

Ben & Harry's Delicious....Old Yeller, also delicious

I didnt really cancel based on if I can afford it or not. Most of what I canceled is a few months away, which gives me more than enough time to save money for them. If fact I could afford most of them if the shipped this week.

I canceled more based on space issues. Dave says I'm an amateur, but having close to 100 1/6 figures with more on pre-order and what I am sure will be many more in the future I need to start being a bit more selective. Money is not the issue, space is. I need to focus on stuff that I REALLY REALLY want, not getting everything I think just looks cool.

With Indy coming, and Conan, and more Star Wars figures, and the Dead line, and LotR 12" line and Hot Toys being as amazing as they are, I know more more GREAT things will come. I need to focus more on those kinds of purchases than the "thats cool, I guess I will get that" stuff.

I just cant keep getting everything.
