The best thing about having a collection focus on a particular character might be that the spouses don't blink twice when stuff for that character pours in. It's just more of the same to them, or, if you're lucky, they'll even encourage you to buy it. I can seem to get away with anything related to Captain America —Omnibuses, props, Silver age comics, PFs, Hot Toys— though she did raise a brow at the Bucky Cap pf

I thought about it for a small moment but no, I couldn't do it. I got caught up with the hype at 1st & I considered selling the original if it would cover the cost of this & Red Skull but I decided against it. I love the original to much.

I do really like the new one though but the original is a more obvious comic version & in a classic museum pose which suits my tastes much more than the new one.

This is different enough that I can't see to many people running out to well their originals to get it... Now maybe to get it and Gladiator Hlk or the New Red Skull PF. However, the original is such a cherished piece I don't see many doing that.
