It's not horrible, but SS could have done more ch better. Just feels like they took a shortcut when compared to the rest of the statue.

Agreed.

Compare the two shields and the round shield wins for, IMO, excellent detail & sculpting. IMO Sideshow could have done better with the classic shield.

Having said that, this statue is a grand-slam for Sideshow as far as I'm concerned.

No. It's complete crap. I would never display that thing unless I have it repainted. Round shield is awesome. Kite shield totally ruins the look of the whole piece. Sideshow really blew it.

I don't think the classic shield is "complete crap" although I do think that sideshow could have done better and given a detailed, sculpted shield like the round one.

Okay, so I pulled the trigger on this guy. I'm so excited and yet so incredibly nervous it will get damaged in transit... These look like they're packed well and should be able to stand being kept in a UPS/FedEx holding cell... err, shipping center for a day or two over the holiday (stupid New Year...), but what do I know?

...Just that I need this Cap in my life. Thank God I don't have room for that many collectibles; I don't think I could handle the stress!
