After looking over my myriad of this year's pre-orders, I have determined that this piece, with Red Sonja at a close second, has replaced the Superman PF as my most anticipated new arrival. :)

Cap is one of my most anticipated pieces for next year. :D

I really somebody posting a LONG time ago about the yellowing. Thankfully, mine doesn't have that issue, but....*knocks on wood*

I think the sad realization though will be that ALL of these PFs are going to deteriorate at a much faster rather than the comiquettes. :( (Well, I guess all 1:4th scale are now PFs, but I'm speaking from an OG-type of mindset. You know what I mean. :lol)

Yup, it's sad but true. :monkey2

:lol :lol :lol

I'm starting to lean in that direction myself! :lol

I loved it on the old stuff. So I don't change my position on those, but for this new stuff, I like when they just throw in a leather belt or something and leave the rest to sculpt and paint. Unfortunately though, I think QC concerns will go up. Cloth can cover quite a bit. Maybe for the best?

So you are Snoop so you are. I'll get my coat :slap

Yeah, with paint apps sometimes being questionable. I'll take PJs all day. Hard to f those up. And I figure if maintained well, they will last many lifetimes. Plenty of good use I'd say.

I think if the paint apps are spot on, they I'd give the edge to no cloth (in terms of the new stuff.) But yeah, it's so difficult nowadays to get that satisfactory piece. I had a run there where I had horrible luck. My last few pieces have been great though.

Don't listen to this man he hasn't even ordered this yet :lecture

So far I haven't had any problems with any of my PFs but only time will tell.

I take care of my collectibles because I want to enjoy them for a long time.

As for cloth vs no cloth, it really depends of the piece. I really think a fully sculpted Spidey is the way to go (no offense Spidey PF owners), but some PFs look exceptional and it adds a touch of realism to the sculpt. I can def enjoy both.

Has anyone seen Captain America fire a thompson with one hand in a comic before ?
Seems like a 1911 .45 gun would of made more sense for a shield/weapon combinaision no ?

No ? I don't wanna **** on anyone's parade or anything. Just discussing :)

It's an intersting point but cap could just as easily fire all the bullets and dump the gun or throw it over his shoulder and carry on. I just see it more as moment in time rather than a weapon he is depending on and needs to use again and again.
