He's a freaking super soldier. He should be able to shoot a freaking bazooka one handed if he wanted to ;)

Haha yeah, that's what I was also thinking.
But I like to have the statue staying true to the comics, that's why I have zero interests in the movies statues. I'm not the one who read the most Capt. America comics, but I was just trying to recollect when/if he was ever portrayed firing a Tompson one-handed in a comic you know.

I'm still on the fence to get this one. I already have 5 other statues coming in next year :/

I'm debating if that Thompson is worth it. Even if i get the Ex, im not sure I would display him with it.

Welp, i suppose with the Red Skull PF going up next week it is a good time to secure my Cap EX. Flexed him! :panic:

I'm going to regret not getting this. But I just can't. It'll open up Pandora's Box. Must resist. Never been this tempted by a non Spider-Man Marvel piece is ages. Looks fantastic.

As for cloth vs no cloth, it really depends of the piece. I really think a fully sculpted Spidey is the way to go (no offense Spidey PF owners), but some PFs look exceptional and it adds a touch of realism to the sculpt. I can def enjoy both.

I certainly don't care for the Spidey PF...the com blows it out of the water, in my opinion.

I agree with you about mixed media. It works on some pieces (Doom PF, Deadpool, Hulk Maquette) and fails or simply adds no value on others.

Before this year, I was very much adverse to any kind of mixed media...I got my first few PF's with cloth earlier this year and don't mind it now. But, as you said, depends entirely on the piece and how it is used.

I'm offended. :lecture

Offended again. :lecture

j/k

I'm in the minority here, but I like the PF better. The comiquette looks phenomenal, but there's something about the PF that I like better. (Probably because it's 'old skool Sideshow.')

I prefer comiquettes aswell, mainly because it requires less maintainence.
I have 4 statues, Green scar vs Silver savage/Skaar pf/Deadpool pf and Joker pf. I have the first 3 just standing there on top of my desk without any protection against dust because there isn't any fabrics that would be hard to clean off. I just dust them off once in a while with a little soft brush and it's like a new piece again.
But for the joker, I bought a glass case so dust wouldn't go anywhere near it since 90% of the statue is fabric and I assume would be a pain in the *** trying to get clean all the time.

Agree 100%... PF cloth material is pain to keep clean if left in open display.

That's why I like my Raiders Indy PF; The dustier he gets the more authentic he looks. He may even have a live spider on him from time to time. ;)

So just to confirm. The pants, belt, arm sleeves and abdomen are all cloth of sorts? That's a lot more than I remembered. Heck, that's more than the original PF, if memory serves correctly.

This is going to be one heck of a piece.
