I always looked at Cap's calm attitude as him judging today's society with disdain.

I've see the same attitude from some WWII veterans and elderly folks when they talk about (some) people today.

I agree, I like that he mostly has that calm/ gramps lecture demeanor. But he needs to lose it and show passion. It is an aspect of Cap, he can't help but become passionate when it comes to Americans rights.

I understand what your saying but if he harps on about american rights the rest of the world watching the movie will be like "WTF is he talking about?!" I have noting against him showing some passion though I just think they are portraying him as worldly as they can get away with.

Yeah man Chris Evans really pulled the role off for me. I never doubted the look was right but I wasn't sure he would do the character justice. Glad he proved me wrong and made me a big Cap fan now.

I agree. I'm a much bigger Cap fan now.

My only complaint about evans is that he is so proper. When he discusses "why it's not american" or "why tony is untrustworthy" it is in a calm demeanor. I hope in the new movie, his patriotism is tested to the max, and he loses it. I want to see him yell "That's not American!" Or something like that (something he often did in the comics).

Personally, I really loved that he kept his level head. In the Avengers, he was the guy you could count on when the sh#t was hitting the fan and everyone else was losing it. People started looking towards him as the leader because he was keeping it all together. I really loved what Evans did with his character.

Edit: It would be great to see him lose his cool at least once though

Personally, I really loved that he kept his level head. In the Avengers, he was the guy you could count on when the sh#t was hitting the fan and everyone else was losing it. People started looking towards him as the leader because he was keeping it all together. I really loved what Evans did with his character.

Exactly how I feel. Everything to this date has been great. But with the winter soldier story, he needs to be emotional and "compromised". We should see Captain America at his lowest point in this movie. Then in Age of Ultron, he should reclaim his leadership role.
