I was getting ready to put in an order, thinking real hard on this, and then the announcement about the new Cap caught me very off guard, now I don't know what to do. Now I feel like I gotta see the new one before I make an educated decision.

My interest for this piece comes from the fact that it has a good balance between the movie AND comic Cap. It gives me the best of both worlds as I can only have one statue of him. Secondly as I mentioned in an earlier post he provides an array of display options due the dynamic pose and array of switch out parts.

Collect what you want to collect. If you're after a comic version this is probably not for you if you're after a movie version, that is still available and SS has already teased the Winter solider PF's aswell. This fits the bill perfectly for me.

Yeah, I think I will now, there is going to be several 1/4 Caps on the market in the next year or two. Im guessing that will inevitably give me a good pic at fair price.

Awesome! Cant wait for this one also...hope they nail the weathering! That's what finally made me order...I was always liking the pose and base but it was the small intricate details that pushed me over the edge so to speak

I think that's the beauty and the beast of this version. It's not any 1 version of Cap in particular. Perfect for those that just want a 1/4 action posed Cap, but not so much for those that NEED a Cap based on something in particular, like a classic comic version or "Avengers" movie version. I'm a comic collector and I think it looks good which is all that matters with this one, so I'm getting it.
