No. Acting skills and look should be tied for priority number one. I personally don't want Paul Giamatti in Captain America's suit, Dame Judy Dench parading around in skimpies as Wonder Woman, etc.

You can't have a one without a two. It's obvious that looks are going to make the list, but you start with the most important. Unfortunately for Evans, Kendrick is a much better actor and will steal every scene they're in, but he's used to that by now. So perhaps you're right, maybe looks should be first considering the pairing.

Why not? There's barely any diversity at all in any of the films and no non-white woman I can think of in any of the Marvel studio films.

I'm not counting X-Men or anything since those aren't Marvel Studios anyway.

Yeah sure but characters like Darcy and the blonde reporter from Iron Man 1 and 2? Plus it wouldn't be the "end of the world" if a love interests (not even a superhero) race or ethnicity was changed.

Not to mention, Maria Hill has been depicted as non-white on the cartoon show, comics, etc.
