Re: Captain America 2: The Winter Soldier

Ha ha ha. Yeah man, I saw that. You took the time to explain everything to the guy and he didn't even read your post. It's all good though, I read it . Didn't know he was constantly being frozen and "thawed".

my mistake. sorry.

Re: Captain America 2: The Winter Soldier

So it's not a common knowledge for you anymore... :lol :naughty

Re: Captain America 2: The Winter Soldier

if you're referring to me, what was there to read? this is common knowledge if you saw the first cap movie. no spoilers here.

:slap

1. It's not common knowledge if you saw the first Captain America movie, because all you see is Bucky fall to his death, nothing more.

2. If it was "common knowledge", then why did you ask for more information about the Winter Soldier's origin?

3. What was there to read was a relatively detailed explanation of the Winter Soldier's origin that I had prepared for you, because everyone else was being evasive and not answering your question. I put it in spoiler tags because I was essentially describing plot details to the movie (if they base it 100% on the comic book story)

Re: Captain America 2: The Winter Soldier

The title of the movie is a Spoiler. All you gotta do is Google the Winter Soldier and you've been spoiled

Naming the movie "The Winter Soldier" is not a spoiler, in my opinion. Googling details of the source material in which a movie is based on is spoiling it for yourself, yes.

Giving a movie adaptation of a book the same title as the source material isn't a spoiler, it's natural and logic.

For example, if " The Godfather" were to be released today instead of 1972, would naming it " The Godfather" (the same title as the book) be a spoiler? No. Would googling plot details of the book be a spoiler? Yes. But through no fault of anyone except the person searching for the details.

You realised your mistake, fair enough, and i said it was ok, just a miscommunication. But now you have edited your posts and flipped this back on me.

Re: Captain America 2: The Winter Soldier

Welcome to the internet, Robert Redford. The Oscar winner appears to have let out a SPOILER about his role in Captain America: The Winter Soldier.

Hero Worship: Redford in Captain America 2

In a chat with The Straits Times (via Here Be Geeks), Redford said the following about his character, Agent Alexander Pierce, a senior leader within the S.H.I.E.L.D. organization:

“I think a career requires a certain amount of reinvention. If you get caught in one track I think that can be dangerous. Success has a dark side to it. you want to be careful if you’ve had success at something, that you not try and follow it by just duplicating it. That’s why I’m doing this Captain America thing. I like the idea of playing a villain…I did that just because it’s a different thing for me to do.”

In the comics, Alexander Goodwin Pierce wasn't a villain but rather a S.H.I.E.L.D. sleeper agent who served as the contact between Nick Fury and Tony Stark, and also tangled with Hydra.

Re: Captain America 2: The Winter Soldier

Hope so. I think everyone in this universe should have that ability. It's awesome.
