Re: Captain America 2: The Winter Soldier

I'd love Red Skull to return. He was sucked into the Cube so could just be held in limbo

Yeah, having watched the ending a couple times now at the gym, I have no doubt he did NOT die. He was transported... somewhere. But definitely able to come back. Its just getting Hugo back that will be the challenge now.

Re: Captain America 2: The Winter Soldier

Doesn't mean he'll do good under threat though.

Yeah, he could come back and tank the role. That would be sad.

I don't know though. He's doing commercial roles as Agent Smith these days. I think he needs the paycheck :lol
So did Terrence Howard look where that got him:dunno

Did he sign on for multiple films?

Re: Captain America 2: The Winter Soldier

It was either this thread or somewhere else someone posted an article that said Hugo would not come back as the Skull. He basically said it was fun the first time but he didnt like the character or something.

Sort of. He said he didn't want to come back and that he feels they won't make him if he doesn't want to, but Marvel seems pretty aggressive in their business. Who knows what's gonna go down.

Edit: Here it is in his words:

I [signed a multi-picture deal] for Captain America. I think the tendency, with those films, would be to probably not bring a villain back. They might for The Avengers, but I didn’t think I’d be in Captain America 2 or 3. I don’t think Red Skull will be there. And it’s not something I would want to do again. I’m glad I did it. I did sign up for a number of pictures and I suppose, contractually, I would be obliged to, if they forced me to, but they wouldn’t want to force someone to do it, if they didn’t want to. I think I’ve done my dash with that sort of film. It was good to do it and try it out, but to be honest, it’s not the sort of film I seek out and really am excited by. As an actor, to do all sorts of different films is great. It stretches you in different ways. But, I increasingly like to go back to what I used to always do, which is to get involved with projects that I really have a personal affiliation with.

Heard he did then heard he was replaced contract disappeared.

Rewatching Cap.

Too bad they didn't have him run into the Times Square superheros when he runs into Times Square at the end, damn license requirements. :lol

I was there in Times Square that very chilly Saturday morning when they filmed that scene, fun watching it now, brings back fond memories.

...fond memories of stalking?

Re: Captain America 2: The Winter Soldier

I honestly don't think Hugo Weaving is needed if RS comes back some day. I liked Weaving, but was his performance essential to the role? I don't think so, necessarily. RS has changed his face over the year, so if they show him with a new mask it could be a new actor.

:lol :lol :lol

Iron Man was at the times square TRU the other day. That would probably be pretty confusing for him.

I keep checking in here to see if there's any on-set photos of Emily. :lol
