Some people will disagree...I'm one of them. Do you like your heroes more flawed and relatable then? That's the reason I like Superman. He's someone to aspire to be like.

I like them flawed, hence my typical boredom with Superman and Cap.

I'm not sure if it's been mentioned yet, but would anyone else agree that this has been Cap's greatest display of strength in the MCU thus far?

I agree. This is why I like Cap and Superman the most. I idolize individuals who I aspire to be like the most, that I feel set the best example for society. Someone that you can try and model yourself after and strive to be better than what you are or already are. Not someone that you can relate to because they already remind you of yourself.

I recall a quote from Kevin Costner in some behind the scenes segment for MoS, in which he stated: "If you live your life like it's one giant movie and pretend that you're the hero in it, then you'll always do the right thing."

For some of the more interesting/nuanced villains, that's exactly how they see themselves- as the hero of the story (I'm looking at you, Magneto). So I'm not sure I'd use that quote to talk about heroism (and MoS Pa Kent isn't the best role model either).

Good point, that's true.

As a whole, I actually quite liked Costner's rendition of Jonathan Kent. Though I don't really think that's a discussion to be had in depth in the Marvel section. Remy and I had a pretty good, in depth discussion about this a few months ago in the MoS Supes figure thread. :lol

That's awesome.

haha I can't wait for that one scene especially! :D

Right? Looks like Bucky might rip out the arc reactor, then we find out what kind of man Tony is when you take away the suit of armor :lol
He'll probably just feel stuck, like a turtle, cooking in his little turtle suit :lol

I know we might not get him anytime soon but I found this piece of art that pretty much changed the blue around to black and pretty much made Bucky Cap. I don't think it looks too bad at all.
