As long as cap doesn't die and the action & tone is as good as winter soldier I'm gonna love this!

Got my tickets for the 28th. I can't wait! :D

those are ugly. Aren't they just the magazine covers?
also does this imply iron man, capt, and black widow are the three main characters?

Hell it would he nice if they did do something like that at least to make it unpredictable, they need to raise the stakes or else this movies will end being just video games with great action sequence and at the rate they are going at they will have 20 or so scfi, action , comic book movies released a year which will undoubtedly harm the group as a whole.

They need to each carve a niche for themselves to differentiate that or the risk being bland cliche.

So for those who have seen this, is it Team Cap, Team Iron Man and Team Black Widow, a lot has seems to implied she'd be the main character standing between both sides of the argument and these posters almost imply that others agree and follow her.

from what I'm reading in the reviews, this movie sticks with the usual and nothing that drastic happens. Its a shame really. One of the good things about AOU was that the team sort of evolved and changed a bit. I do think it was a missed opurtunity not killing hawkeye in it though.

Yeah I keep hearing that " the airport scene is the best action sequence ever " OK but what about the story.

On another note since the market is about to get saturated with these movies lesser know properties will not get a chance to shine , but at least it will force mediocre stories to improve themselves .

As I have said many times Marvel doesn't do anything really drastic with their heroes - even if the wipe out one thay can bring him back later but they won't even do that with a major character, thus the level of threat and real implications of battle never seem real. I'm getting bored with that and maybe why they need to make better stories with real peril for their heroes.

my biggest complaint was always that they were fighting either cgi robots, cgi aliens, or cgi monsters. Now that that has changed they are fighting against eachother, idk if that makes even less exciting because we know no one will die. Even in Xmen dofp (yeah they don't really die) but they still go through the peril and pain and the future scenes are pretty perilous

I will say this: from a story standpoint looking throughout the films it's a very interesting dynamic built up between the two main opposing ideologies. Iron man had a huge revelation in the first film and remember how adamant in the sequel that the government can't have his suits? Then the wormhole thing happened and iron man 3 had him dealing with that and we saw his mental fortitude in some ways. Scarlet Witch didn't help matters at all by making him very paranoid which led to Ultron and his trust issues with his team.

Captain America is a wartime hero. He has the mind for it he's at peace with it. They make that crystal clear in Winter Soldier. Before the serum, he was a soldier and a scrapper. Tony wasn't. He doesn't have the mental security with it--he doesn't trust governments or shield or authority. As the line between good and bad gets murkier his moral compass is more emotionally driven. Which leads to some flaws and inconsistencies in his own logic, but I respect his sacrifice. He's literally mentally cracking more and more in my eyes from who he wants to be but yet he still shows up for battle. That's the way I see it.

I can sympathize with both characters.

based on the source material (comics) when does a major character die and stay dead? Rogers, Parker, Wayne and Kent all died to eventually find their way back to the man title. BvS killed Supes but before credits began rolling he was being resurrected.

I doubt we'll ever get a hero in true jeapordy versus someone they love or the people they swore to protect in danger. None of the movies this year DP, BvS (antcipate) CW have no real threats....we'll see how it works.

There doesn't have to be a death for there to be a good story. I felt like Quicksilver's in AoU was kind of unnecessary and definitely didn't make the film any better than it would have been had he not died.

Yea those expecting that kinda storyline will be disappointed from either brand. The problem then becomes the story's reliance on Lois Lane, MJ, Pepper Potts etc. being the damsels in distress or global enhilation as sub plots.
