I think that would actually make for a really strong narrative. IM1 is good but you really could start with TFA, then head right into The Avengers from Cap's point of view, then TWS and CW. Even without seeing the team fractured in AoU it probably wouldn't matter too much because TA ended with Thor leaving and the team being dispersed anyway. TWS shows "Cap calling the shots now" so you might be fine just heading right into Civil War where Cap has his new handpicked team.

In that regard I think Ant-Man is actually the better "in between" movie than AoU just because I think his backstory does make the airport fight that much more fun. AoU does have Steve getting his dance with Peggy but since it didn't technically happen I'd say it's unnecessary. So if I were to trim the fat and have a Phase I to Phase III binger I could see myself doing The First Avenger, The Avengers, The Winter Soldier, Ant-Man, Civil War.
I like it. It's ironic that the light hearted heist movie has the scene that I find most horrifying in all the MCU.

Only because Disney bought off the...box office.

:exactly:critics, theater chains, fans etc.....Hail Disney

Here would be a great place for the clip of Sidious yelling "Absolute Power!"

Too bad I'm using a 1st generation iPad, can't even use YouTube.

Geesh, what does someone like me have to do to get that Sweet Disney bribe money, they must have spent billions to make a billion!

Civil War was a hit in China too, it has made in two weeks what took Star Wars its entire theatrical run. BVS only made $95 mill in China, so I guess China really loves Marvel and Vin Diesel :lol

The version they show in China has different footage that Zemo shows Stark. In the China cut it shows Bucky photoshopping extra firework explosions in to the 2008 Beijing Olympic broadcast, causing the country much embarrassment and that's what sets Tony off.

:rotfl

Who would have known Tony Stark was such a dyed in the wool Chinese Nationalist.

Critical praise and box office profits aside, no one will ever be able to take away Warner Bros' victory of generating more trailer buzz on Twitter months before release.

Warner Bros. and DC decided to release the latest trailer for Batman v Superman: Dawn Of Justice just one week after Marvel had premiered the first footage for Captain America: Civil War. And it looks like their decision to try and squash the impact of their Marvel rival worked like a charm, because according to research film ListenFirst, via the Wall Street Journal, the Batman v Superman: Dawn Of Justice clip generated more Twitter buzz after its release.

Man I'm not trying to be a DC hater. But are BvS fans really that desperate to get a win somewhere? Twitter buzz?! :lol

The buzz probably worked. I had a feeling I wouldn't like the movie, but I still went to the theater to see BvS, which is unusual for me when I get that sinking feeling.

That article is 5 months old

Shush you! :thwak I was laughing so hard at the thought of people thinking that this was just posted today. :rotfl

I can have my fun at BvS' expense in this thread though, you DC guys know in the other thread that I thoroughly enjoyed both films. ;)

And as usual I'll probably be one of the few people to see the silver lining in the utterly stupid looking X-Men: Apocalypse.

Fooled me :lol

Though tbh BvS trailers had me super buzzed to watch the movie. I remember my dad telling me that he heard all the reviews were bad but I thought "Yeah whatever, this movie is going to be awesome!" Moral of the story, I should listen to my dad.

Did people really forget these "Critics" Ads ?
