Like those matrix flying scenes. Especially the one where he twirls the clouds before flying down to the projects. Or when he saves his friends from that truck crash. I thought I was looking at some bad anime

I'll have to see if I notice on subsequent viewings but I didn't notice anything off about their suits in CW. I've certainly seen the trailer where Stark says, "Underoos, you're up!" plenty of times and always thought it looked good.

Yeah.. I knew some parts were CGI from the neck down but thought others were suits.. I really could not tell most of the time.

Cgi was brought up.

I'm ok with less then perfect cgi due to budget or laziness reasons as long as the product as a whole is engaging, fun and thrilling.

No amount of really dressed costumed Clone troopers could save the PT.

That's the difference.

This

"How come X gets a pass in this movie but was ripped apart in AOTC?" Because AOTC SUCKED. Plain and simple. If CG Troopers were the *worst* thing about the movie and the *only* thing "off" then just like the crappy wargs in The Two Towers they'd get a pass. But CG Troopers weren't the worst thing about the PT. They were just one out of a hundred idiotic choices George made when producing that crapfest of a trilogy.

:lol

and this.
That looks so dry and coarse. And I bet it gets everywhere.

:lol :lol :lol

I know that it's confusing. It is one thing to question the official story, and another thing entirely to make wild accusations, or insinuate that I'm some kind of Prequel fanboy.

That would be outlandish and, uh, fantastic. I'm just not the prequel fan type. Clearly. With this laundry list of criticisms and rants I've made, largely public.

The truth is . . . I am WeeJedi.

That's pretty cool. Looking forward to the 3D release. Something I can't help but notice every time I watch is that when he's putting the shotgun away he aims it right in John's face. Lucky he doesn't have a Vincent Vega moment.

Such a great speech. A real exclamation point to kick off the MCU. I was even more excited about the repercussions of Stark revealing his identity than I was about Sam Jackson's appearance after the credits. I mean it was cool that he mentioned the Avengers but at that time Marvel movies were such a crapshoot (and contained the likes of Daredevil, Thomas Jane Punisher, Fantastic Four 1 and 2, Ghost Rider) that I wasn't able to get too excited without seeing first how they'd handle guys like Cap and Thor and to a lesser extent the Hulk.

That T2 gif is amazing. And glad you enjoyed revisiting The First Avenger JAWS. :)

Funny thing about Thomas Jane Punisher is that they basically did a crappy adaptation of an overhyped storyline that fanboys were wetting their collective pants over.

It was a decent enough revenge flick but some of the things they had "Frank Castle aka The Punisher" doing were just SO goofy.

Yeah.. Sitting around and placing fire hydrants all night long and taking pictures is not the first thing I think of when I think of the Punisher.

Thank goodness for the 2nd season of Daredevil. Punisher finally done right.

Oh yeah, that Thomas Jane punisher was too funny. I loved how he managed to blow up the cars at the end to form a flaming skull. The only thing funnier was in War Zone when he hung from the chandelier and shot everyone in the room.

Quick question, how did Team Stank know Team Cap was going to be at the airport? I know Widow mentions to Panther that she knew someone who knew where Bucky (and company) were going to be when recruiting him by his ride.

I think Widow was referring to Sharon Carter who told them they were going to be at the airport off screen

Which makes her some sort of triple agent :lol

Wut, Jane Punisher, especially the directors cut was a decent action movie and even a decent Punisher movie.

Not as good as his Netflix version though, that was insane good!

Jye... Jye... Jye..... I can't let you say such things. You need to go to your room and think about what you just said. When you think you are ready to apologize for making such a statement you can come out and rejoin the conversation.

Seriously though... I hate the Jane Punisher film. So goofy. Goofy side characters, goofy villain, goofy music, etc... I find nothing very entertaining about the film. The russian fight was sort of fun but they kept showing the goofy neighbors dancing around so that scene was ruined. I think it's a bad action film and an awful Punisher movie.

Not that any of the other movies were any better.

A fun Punisher movie. :lol
