So it looks like if Hurt didn't want to return, Cranston was considered. Or maybe he's another character. Interesting... Makes you wonder of he's in talks for another role... Norman Osborn perhaps?

Neither of the Thor films is a masterpiece, but the first one is great fun. A bit of a guilty pleasure for me, actually.

My dad is awesome. He's a 69 year old insurance underwriter who is retiring this year but he's hated his industry and career for so long that it's been a running joke that the only thing that relaxes him is extreme violence in crime novels and movies/TV.

Last night he sent me this email:

"Should have nice restful sleep. Just watched Frank take out all off of cell block A."

He obviously followed my recommendation to check out Netflix Daredevil. :lol

I love the MCU and own zero Thor movies. First one was an okay fish out of water comedy. Second one I only saw once. Loki zinging it up on the escape from Asgard was the most obvious script-doctoring I've ever seen.

Will go see part 3.:monkey3

The only thing that will stop me from seeing any MCU, DC, X-Men or Spiderman movie opening preview night is death.

Notice I didn't say Fantastic Four. :lol

Just watched the intro to Fisk.....holy smokes....now I have to slow down on my watching, before I binge it all away...

Jessica Jones is the superhero equivalent of a lifetime movie but at least it has a great villain.
I'm not sure if you've never seen a Lifetime movie, or just haven't seen Jessica Jones :D They are pretty much opposite ends of the spectrum. I could actually buy an argument that the typical Marvel Studios theatrical movie is like a Lifetime movie with action sequences tossed in, though. Letter at the end of Civil War being the most recent example of a feel-good, Lifetime-esque moment. Dysfunctional relationships and darkness pervade Jessica Jones.

I don't remember if I even finished the first episode. It felt so forced.
You should give it another try IMO. I thought it was great.

And when I visit my grandmother, she is usually watching Lifetime, so, sadly, I have seen several of those made for TV movies (usually starring a washed up TV actor or two from the past).

Yeah JJ wasn't a Lifetime show for me. :lol
