Obviously, he won't be "Baron Zemo" in Civil War, but Phoenix.

So tired of hearing this... *no offence*
By such logic THOR was crowded because it had Selvig, Kat Dennings, Coulson, Sitwell, Hawkeye and Warriors Three.
Oh wait, it WAS crowded with pointless characters! :lol

And how many of those characters started in their own movies? I mean throwing in Iron Man as a co-star could easily have made this Iron Man 4 instead of Cap 3. I LIKE that there are so many characters, but from a marketing standpoint it seems kind of pointless to anchor it as a Cap film. It actually kind of gives un unfair advantage to Cap as it makes it seem like he is the 'good' guy on Iron Man is the 'bad' guy in Civil War. Having it just called Civil War would have made it more neutral, and that is more interesting to me as it sparks a nice debate just like the comic event did. When you read a Cap comic, you kind of had the mindset of siding with Cap. Same with an Iron Man, Punisher, Spider-man, etc comic. Its like we get this Civil War story only told from Cap's comic, not giving Iron Man his chance to really express his standpoint.

Don't get me wrong, I'm ecstatic we're getting Civil War at all. I'm just surprised it came so early and the aren't making it its own phase. It really could have been one if they really wanted to explore the theme like the comics did.

Loki is a MUCH bigger MCU star than Thor himself, still there's no LOKI film - he plays a villain in stories of others.
Natasha is a bigger selling point than Rogers, still there's no BLACK WIDOW film.

Since no new Iron Man movies were announced it's safe to assume that from now on Stark is a secondary character even if RDJ is their biggest star.

Disney blockbuster can't be "neutral". The sooner people realize that MCU is 100% about good vs evil the better. :lol
And it's not a bad thing, especially nowadays. Leave philosophical questions to DC.

Maybe he has none this time? Maybe he's controled or too psychically destructed by IM3/AoU events to act rationally?
And again, there's no need for Stark to be a star to make him an equal part of the film's theme.

Well, we're getting "Infinity War" in 2018. Only ten years from "Iron Man"...
They're moving wery fast, that's for sure.

Don't know how I feel about it, but I'm glad that IW is the only two parter.
I hate watching a movie knowing that it has no actual ending. :lol

I think with all of the known upcoming movies I'm most looking forward to, forgetting the obvious infinity wars, I think Cap 3 and Dr. Strange are my top choices right now. I really am curious to see how both are going to be played out.

I'm actually most excited for Captain Marvel, then Inhumans, Doctor Strange, Black Panther, Ragnarok, Infinity War, Guardians 2, Spidey, and then Civil War.

depending on who they choose for Carol's role I might be looking forward to that the most. Such a great character.
but for now Cumberbatch Strange steals the top spot for me

I'm not as opposed as I was to Emily Blunt as I used to be but I really really hope they choose Katheryn Winnick. Id rather they go for a smaller name like they did with Hemsworth and Hiddleston.

I was actually disappointed with Benedict at first but after re watching Sherlock again, he's definitely got the arrogance down. I...just can't see him at all with the facial hair. That's gonna be odd for me to see.

Nooooo not Katheryn Winnick solely based on the fact that she was Hannah on Bones and broke up with Booth for a stupid reason.

Now Emily Blunt after Edge of Tomorrow

According to Collider, a Captain America: Civil War casting call for extras in the Atlanta area has gone out and is seeking "many ethnicities", for a shoot date of April 1st. With a May 6th release date scheduled we figured production would have to be commencing pretty soon, but I don't think anyone predicted it'd be quite this soon.

Anyway, on to the good stuff! With the casting notice was our first brief synopsis ( of a sort) for the movie, and it confirms that the story will be based around the Superhero Registration Act from Mark Millar's comic series. This isn't a massive revelation of course, but we expected quite a few changes to the source material so it's nice to know that this element, at least, will carry over to the screen.

"Following the events of Age of Ultron, the collective governments of the world pass an act designed to regulate all superhuman activity. This polarizes opinion amongst the Avengers, causing two factions to side with Iron Man or Captain America, which causes an epic battle between former allies."

Well...I totally known exactly why that's how we'd get Civil War since the movie was announced. I guess AOU is gonna take the place of Stamford.

Finally killing Don Cheadle's presence in MCU would be the happiest day of that year.
