Just makes no sense to keep the overall aesthetics from TWS while completely getting rid of its military background.

He is going on battles, dealing with firefight an all that. What else should he be wearing, other than tactical gear such as that one?

Umm... My point is that it doesn't look tactical one bit, just lots of meaningless panneling.
They could design something closer to the classic instead, it's not hard at all.

Digging caps costume. Looks more muted like the stealth suit which is great as its one of my favorites.

Yeah, I agree. This is my favorite rendition of his suit so far.
