Oh I know that, I just think its hilarious that they had this holy attitude that they had to make Cap less American to appeal to international audiences, but they don't mind whoring him out to a Donut place typically known for their rat infestations here in Philly.

Oh I know that, I just think its hilarious that they had this holy attitude that they had to make Cap less American to appeal to international audiences, but they don't mind whoring him out to a Donut place typically known for their rat infestations here in Philly.

Maybe they're doing that to make Americans more appealing to the world. "Yeah, this is a super patriotic movie about the ultimate American soldier, but us fat Americans sure do love our donuts, amirite?"

Theres an episode of Arrested Development where Michael is on a date in Little Britain and they goto an "American" themed restaurant and instead of giving them bread before the meal, the waiter brings them a basket of donuts.

Sorta, especially because Aldo's coat in the movie is pretty much the same blue colour as Bucky's coat in that pic.
