It's hard to get excited about a figure like this. Especially when you see what HT is doing.

And if you're still a diehard Completist at this point you're just being mean to yourself. Free yourself from the Lucasfilm/SW bonds and you'll be surprised how much happier you'll be.

I'm a sucker for anything ANH. Ordered. Never picked up Endor troopers or many of the Prequel figures but I'm eager to pose this guy next to the fleet trooper and Stormtroopers.

I know I'm a sucker but A New Hope does it for me every time.

Having a good look at the gallery and...I'm more convinced than ever that he was part of an ANH Rebel Trooper trio like the Endor set...he's just kinda plain on his own, but paired up with the Rebel Trooper and one other Rebel figure and it could've been interesting. But considering that the Endor Trio is still available, I'm guessing we won't see that kind of bundle again...which is too bad.

As for this guy, well...Sideshow is getting some good mileage out of Han's basic boots (brown this time), his pants, that simple belt Yavin Luke had and well....other than the jacket and helmet, it's a pretty basic outfit. On the plus side, Praji ahs a simple outfit too but the tailoring was top-notch so if Antilles follows suit, it should look really good. I do have to compliment Sideshow on the preview shots...this is the first time in quite a while that a figure is presented with the outfit having an almost "futzed" look instead of that "let's pull it outta the box n take sum pictures" crumpled look. Looks great...

If you don't like the figure, don't buy it. Once you free yourself from having to buy everything, you'll be a lot happier (and richer).

Baby steps. . . I'm taking baby steps. I just freed myself from the Hasbro bonds in August (and yes, you're right, I am much happier and well, not AS broke). LOL! I used to be a die hard Hasbro figure completist and recently called it quits with the new Clone Wars line - not just quits to being a Hasbro completist, but quits to the entire Hasbro line (with the exception of the Millenium Falcon). So, I am trying, but I'm just not ready to do that with Sideshow yet. Hopefully in time and with some therapy, I'll be able to release the Sideshow bonds. LOL. Actually, if they release many more figures as boring as this one, it won't be that hard.

Picked up 2! I was late, but the lack of enthusiasm for this figure kept him available for me. Thanks haters!

I WILL NOT miss a Sideshow Star Wars figure under ANY circumstances. I have a kidney I can do without, and a lung, if it comes to that.

Okay, the image I posted just before your post is for you then.

:lol

Seriously, though, why would you want TWO of this one? He's an individual character, not a nameless "troop builder".

Unfortunaltely, I have a strain of the completist bug that few people have. I laugh at people who buy one of each figure (in a "I wish I were them kind of jealous way) because I am a completist to the point wher I collect one of each version to keep in the box, and an extra exclusive (which I usually get on eBay) to open. So yes, I have 2 or three of every Sideshow offering in the Star Wars and LOTR lines. And I am soon to add G.I. Joe to the group.
