Unfortunaltely, I have a strain of the completist bug that few people have. I laugh at people who buy one of each figure (in a "I wish I were them kind of jealous way) because I am a completist to the point wher I collect one of each version to keep in the box, and an extra exclusive (which I usually get on eBay) to open. So yes, I have 2 or three of every Sideshow offering in the Star Wars and LOTR lines. And I am soon to add G.I. Joe to the group.

Hey I pretty much found a pal here. I didn't go to your extend of buying duplicates for everything in the SW line, but I am working on that. Hah hah.

I don't keep any in boxes though, I simply pose the same figure differently.

I don't mind if Sideshow is releasing obscure figures (in fact I love these unpredicted choices) and them charging more, if they can offer us something more than just the basic figure.

With the $69.99 price tag, I feel there should have been a 'Vader's choking hand' or a 'suffering look Antille's head sculpt'. I really hope Sideshow is not taking us serious fans that would buy anything for granted.:(

Saying this, I will place order once its open for ordering at my local retailer.

$70 is nothing for a 1/6th anymore... but this guy is bare bones and should have more then just a gun.

Ordered him. Scene building potential is too hard to pass on this guy. Basically he's like Bib Fortuna and IMO my Jabba scene would be incomplete without Bib Fortuna. Likewise, a Tantive IV scene will be incomplete without Antilles.

The 2 or more of everything bug is bad considering you can almost always buy a second one for practically 1/2 price down the road on ebay.

All it would have taken is an extra choke hand with ANH Vader (manual, not force) to make this guy a hit.

Exactly. The only thing that's going to push me to get this one later is the potential to pose him with my Hurc Vader. That hand sure would have been a nice extra.

Why would he offer $200? Or even pay $100 on ebay? Praji has been going for $50 to $60 for quite some time. Almost no Sideshow Star Wars figure increases in value, with the exception of something like Jedi Luke.

He wanted it badly, and being one of the few who did profit off of the .com rat race of the 90's, had the money to do so. He thought I'd part for it for the $200 which would give him instant gratification but I don't sell my collectibles. His only other options were to wait out the wait list or ebaY. He's one of the most impatient people I've ever met. The $100 on ebaY is simple. He used the "Buy Now" feature rather than waste his time haggling over what he considers an insignificant price difference.

Send that dude my way next. I'll sell my collectibles for a $130 profit.

Just make sure you've got them listed on ebaY with the Buy Now feature. I think the reason he blurted out $200 is because he was holding Praji in his hands and thought the offer generous enough that he'd go home with him right there and then. Since that point, if he misses a PPO, he either pays his personal assistant to stay home and get the item for him (which he did for General Kenobi) or buys it off of ebaY.

I thought the Art S Buck was being retired for the most part yet it keeps showing up again and again. I know that the rebel fleet troopers were probably in development for some time and were probably planned for the buck but they would look so much better on the Pro body. Is the Pro only to be used on high-end figures like Snake Eyes, Vader, Stormtrooper? Han and Luke didn't even have the Pro body and while I can kind of let that slide because the figures turned out nicely, it still would have been better to have the Pro body on them.

As far as the figure itself, Antilles looks decent but I'm becoming more and more selective - if it isn't a major character I'm not buying. Pass for me.

Vader and the Stormtrooper aren't on the Prometheus body. Different bodies. Vader is a unique Sideshow body and the Stormtroopers are on a HotToys/Sideshow co-designed armor body.

I like the outfit but the scuplt? I aint got a clue who he is, seems a bit overpriced for like a 3rd, 4th tier figure. Will probalie pick him up cheap though.

Yeah, I know, but the armored bodies are much more similar to the Pro than the Buck and were debuted at the same time as the Pro. They seem to be basically a slimmed down version of the Pro able to fit underneath armor.

But that actually makes my point even more glaring because that means the only figures to officially be on the standard Pro are Indiana Jones, Snake Eyes and Cobra Commander. Three armored Star Wars figures are on new bodies, Stormtrooper, Vader and Obi-Clone. Since the announcement of the Pro we've had just as many figures (if not more) still released on the Buck.

Someone needs to find whatever warehouse in China is storing all of the crappy Buck figures and burn that ^^^^er to the ground.

Sideshow could then use the insurance money to start releasing ALL of their 1/6 figures on modern bodies that can pose naturally. In other words, release ALL non-armored figures on the Prometheus and make a new female body that actually looks human.

Sounds like a job for the watchmen :lol

^By referring to the characters in Watchmen as "The Watchmen" you have just committed one of the greatest comic book related sins there is.

Oh, and Belloq was announced to be on the Pro as well.
