I loved the 80/90’s Area 51 vibe from this movie.

No lie the same “Oh ****” moment I had from Skull in IW happened with me again in CM.

Yeah just ignore the racist white chick and go in with a clear MCU mind.

Oh one more thing I usually walk away from an MCU movie with 3-5 things that bugged me but with CM I have only ONE!

It’s kind of a doozy but whatever.

Oh one more thing I rank this above Thor 1 another origin story with an earth/cosmic plot and I love Thor 1. It handled the time spent on earth much better than Thor did.

I think this may be a similar case for me, every so often I go see a film san family , in the mid afternoon (empty theater) and have a beer and pretzel.

Last on was BR2049.....

Maybe CM is that film, the family wants to see Toothless’s end story.

Worst Marvel movie by far.

What was this even about?!

The script, directing, editing, soundtrack, everything was so poorly timed and put together. Wow. Like 1 action set piece and it was a DUD!!

This bit didn't bug me as much. I do think it introduced a continuity problem with Coulson though:

Coulson was supposed to have been recruited by Nick just out of high school so he's too old to be this green (I think he was a rookie in this film?). Fury's characterization is fine though. He's just like the current Coulson, experienced enough to be very competent considering how out of his league he is during the film but young enough to be relatively enthusiastic about things. I would think his cynicism would come later as he rose through the SHIELD ranks.

Okay Disney’s final BO projections for CM is 155M domestically. So that would top Wonder Women’s opening of 103M but get nowhere close to Black Panther’s 202M. We shall know if they are correct Monday.
