Same. I’m too invested to let a little publicity misinterpretation sway me from seeing a new MCU movie.

No doubt no way in hell can I just shrug off the movie RIGHT BEFORE AEG!!!

I’m super pumped with the build up.

Maybe after CM she’ll get addicted to coke (not Pepsi), her career tanks and she ends up in porno movies i’ll then watch those too lol

No joke I have 3 CM Funko pops with a 4th on the way, and I’m quite tempted by the HT. You bet your sweet ass my ass will be in theater next Friday.

I have no intention of abandoning the MCU. I just have no desire to see this film. IMHO Captain Marvel is a terrible character in the comics, she is narcissism incarnate. Her comics don’t sell yet Marvel keeps relaunching a new run, only to have it too canceled for low sales. It feels like Marvel are trying to push this on character on us. So, for that reason, plus Brie Larson’s big mouth, I’ll be going to see Alita again on March 8th.

All this! Marvel didn’t have there “it” girls at the time so they kept pushing this chick but she made no impact whatsoever. She’s actually really annoying. Compared to the other heroes in marvel she lacks charm. She was better as miss marvel

Well the way I look at it is that you’re either really invested in the MCU by now or you’re not.

I am.

Therefore one silly actress babbling about press junket diversity isn’t going to alter my plans.

+1000 for not having a frail ego....

That's cool. Everyone is entitled to go or not go. When the star essentially says white male opinions are irrelevant then no need for me to help their film succeed.

I'm also one of those people that doesn't let what a celebrity does in their personal(or public) life get in the way of me enjoying a movie.

I absolutely can not stand Tom Cruise and disagree with pretty much everything he stands for but I love a lot of his movies.

No frail ego here. Just don’t want to give my hard-earned money to something I think is crap, regardless that it has an MCU stamp on it.

I for sure will never give up on the MCU and will always watch every movie they put out. This is the first movie however that I have been considering not seeing in the theaters. I just don't care about the character and already expect it to be as boring as AntMan and Wasp. The only reason for me to see it now and not wait for digital is really wanting to see its connection to the greater story. Especially since EndGame is already next month.

QFT, all of it.

Me and my sons will be watching this at the theater. We are looking forward to it. I don't really know jack **** about the character, but she plays an important role in the overall arc of Endgame. I want to see more about the Skrull and Kree and what role Ronan has in this. Im also looking forward to seeing Samuel Jackson digitized young and the 90s vibe...

Brie's racism and bigotry has turned me off enough to not reward Disney with anything more than a $5.00 Tuesday a couple weeks after release. So I'll see if its entertaining and how it ties into AEG but no way am I dropping $70+ on this like I did for Alita.

Hell I even spent over 50 bucks on IMAX 3D tickets for the so so Aquaman. But the "you're a weak and threatened man unless you pay full price for CM opening weekend" nonsense that the marketing and shill SJW media is pushing is a "nice try, but no" for me.

Thats too bad that she came across that way in the interview. I didn't read it or see it, plus her opinion means nothing to me. There is a current agenda being pushed around by some people for no good reason and she is just on that hype train. This too shall pass...

I'll see this at a screening and not contribute a dime to 'the agenda'.

Whoever setup this obvious parody account, well done!! ( I especially like the Star War fan since 2017 line in the bio.) Well played, you manage to hit every SJW trope. Unfortunately there are people out there and in the media who will agree with this tweet 100%.

there should be more women reviewers, especially for movies depicting women of color.

This notion alone seems very racist -- and frighteningly narrow minded. Like types should be with like types? Is this that far from Trump saying a Hispanic judge couldn't fairly judge him? If the last 20 years have proven anything, its that people should NOT be left alone in their own private bubbles with only like types.
