Think of it as a black Friday sale.
Problem is the people who paid more in this case don't get the product earlier than those who paid less. I don't have a problem if they did this a few months later if they are having problems moving the Exclusive version. But to offer it cheaper to those who originally paid for the regular is just a puzzling move.

Yup. I'm gonna ask Sideshow about it and I encourage everyone who ordered an exclusive to do the same. I also read that they are doing upgrades for Ms. Marvel as well.

Basically a certain number of customers who ordered the regular edition had their order converted to an exclusive at no extra cost. This is a practice done time to time for products that aren't selling as well as expected. The manager was nice enough to take $10 off my exclusive order.
And yes!! Can't wait for Carnage

Ok so we got the 20 day notice now....why have they yet to show us the ES? And with them converting Regs to ES at no cost has me a little worried...I am thinking this is going to be a really High ES and they just do not want a mass cancel to happen.

Two ____s to the wind about the ES, I know this is the most EPIC Carnage statue to date and that's all that matters. Come home and join da Venom!!!!!!!

Yes I still think it is a bad business move. Give the exclusive a discount when the product is still in stock weeks after release and not take a chance of pissing off people who supported the exclusive from the start. I didn't mind as much when I learned that not all regular orders were converted but only a select few but I still don't agree with the practice. I'd still encourage people who aren't happy about it to email or call Sideshow.
Oh well at the end of the day I got my discount and Carnage is one of my favorite characters so
