Nope. Carrie is supposed to be ugly; that was the entire focal point of the book, her physical unattractiveness. A pretty Carrie would never have had to endure the social stressors that the Carrie in the novel did.
Its the whole motivation for what happens later. Therefore I doubt I will be seeing this; not to mention they will probably wreck the ending, which was a masterpiece of "unsettling."
God, I hate this trend. It kind of makes me want to stop watching trailers.
