It looks alright , watchable but I wouldn't cinema this , it looks like a straight up copy , am I imagining things or was this one supposed to be more truthful to the book or something ?. I thought it might take the film in a different direction but then again I've never read the book.

Yes it is.

Might be good. Julianne Moore I think is great for her role. So far, I'm not impressed with Chloe's acting.... but who knows, I'll check it out anyway.

That was what i though aswell. Reminds me of not another teen movie where they pick the girl with the "glasses and ponytail" because she's the ugly outcast, when in fact she's the best looking one in the film

Obviusly Carrie is pretty F-ed up but the teasing seems too much as she's too naturally good looking to be such an outcast.

Just saw the original Carrie movie for the first time.

In case no one has watched it, even though it was made in the 70s: !SPOILER ALERT!

Nah.. I really don't believe Chloe will outdo Sissy Spacek... she was extraordinary. You could clearly see how insecure she was, the torture and the pain in her eyes. Boy she had creepy eyes.

Chloe? Eh, I like her but I think she would have been great playing the girl who planned the whole pigs' blood thing at the prom instead. lol
