Even Michelle Pfeiffer herself looked better in Stardust than she did as Catwoman in Returns! (not true of course, but trying to make a statement here)

I think you may be a little insane. Pfeiffer was at her natural best in Returns. If you like the plastic look then stardust is where you should go!

Anne Hathaway as catwoman?

I'm sorry but to me that's a poor casting choice.

She has this old, wrinkled granny vibe to me, especially when she smiles. She would be the last person I would think of as a catwoman. Pfiffer was perfect; thin, and proportionally fit for catwoman, she has a pointy and sharp facial features too, which compliments her role.

I'd say my best pic of today's actress would be Megan Fox.

In KNIGHTFALL, Bane studied Batman, devised the Arkham breakout, lying in wait for Batman to be demoralized and weakened, and then he STRUCK.

Maybe he's not a Ra's al Ghul mastermind, but he is a brilliant tactician, so I definitely agree, Warden.

This is great news all around, and I trust Nolan to knock another one out of the park.

Great Post Mike. Was about to write an essay here to explain Bane as I think a lot of people are probably assuming its like the character in that ungh...Batman and Robin Film.

As I mentioned earlier, Bane was my dream nemesis character cause one of my favorite Batman storyline is when he broke the Bat.
He is a very Physically imposing character. The fact that he is also highly intelligent makes him one of Batman's worse enemy. Unlike Killer Croc who is physically stronger than Batman, Batman could always end up using his wits to defeat Croc. Not so much with Bane cause he is almost as smart as Bruce.
Of course, later iteration of the character was toned down a bit, but when he first appeared, He not only broke Batman physically but also in spirit...Bruce questioned himself if he can still become Batman.

The news was such a huge surprise to me cause a couple of weeks ago, My friend and I were talking about the next Bat film, I told him My dream villain is Bane but I dont think Nolan would use him. And also when the list for female was shown, I was hoping so badly it would be Anne Hathaway but somehow, I had a feeling they would pick someone else so this news to me is like Christmas!!!
