Mine hasnt even shipped from TNS. I have no idea what the hold up is.

I have never ordered from them before. Onesixthkit was recommended to me long ago and they are indeed very professional. They respond to questions and always do what they say they will. I have had positive experience with Kghobby as well. When it comes to preorders it's Onesixthkit for me because doing business with them feels safe and they usually seem to be one of the first to get new product in stock.

Usually never had a problem with TNS. And free worldwide shipping and I usually get it pretty quickly. But I've been waiting about a week + since paying for two items from them that they claimed was in stock last week and still nothing.

but really don't feel like investing a TBLeague body when non of the joints are exposed. the black shirt & dark pants probably gonna stain it so we won't be able to reuse it in the future.

Exactly another reason I dont care to use a phicen when none of the joints will be visible. Sure, the body looks great, but it's a moot point when its covered with clothing. And I'd hate to have to destroy the body just to get the anatomy right.

Do you have a Hot Toys Baby Doll body? If so where in comparison does the Xing fit next to that?

They look similar in height and shoulder width.

Height yes. Maybe a tad too short based on Asta's pic.

I had 5' 3" recorded for Ellie's height at 14-15 years old during TLOU. The source is a Firefly map:

latest

5' 3" is 10.5" / 26.67 cm at 1/6.

The S27B is a pretty specific body for which clothes and sculpts will likely remain rare. Once they're dressed as Ellie I won't have any need to use the bodies for anything else, so staining won't be a problem. Though it is overkill to have to use such a body for this purpose, but it's what CC Toys used to tailor the clothing.

The chest is pretty soft and squidgy, so maybe the clothing flattens it out somewhat?

This is about as much side on as CC Toys have shown the figure:

Ok. So I'm judging by the size of my HT Baby Doll that's about what I'm looking for in size/height. I have this body coming. Should be here on Monday. Im planning to do a body swap with my Baby Doll and then use the Baby Doll body for Ellie. Screenshot_20191029-232645_eBay.jpg

The ******* are too big :rotfl
Now you just trollin.

Glad I've made my point. [emoji869][emoji2957]

What's awesome about 1:6 is people can customize these figures to their liking and what might work for some might not work for others. I can see you lack the maturity and mentality to accept that. [emoji23][emoji2957]

Do you get this defensive if someone tells you they prefer pineapple on their pizzas or is it just when discussing your dollies?View attachment 469708

It has nothing to do with anything you just wasted your time writing, while also trying to add your superior intellect :lol. You are the one whining about it and it gets old reading about your fuss over something so obviously minor. CCToys recommends the body as the best choice for the figure and you can clearly see that in the prototype photos. But if the other fat legs body works for you, then have at it.

blahblahblahblahblahblahblahblahblahblahblahblahblahblahblahblahblahblahblahblablahblahblahblahblah your superior intellect blahblahblahblahblahblahblahblahblahblahblahblahblahblahblahblahblahblahblahblablahblahblahblahblahblahblahblahblahblahblahblahblahblahblahblahblahblahblahblahblahblahblahblahblablahblahblahblahblahblahblahblahblahblahblahblahblahblahblahblahblahblahblahblahblahblahblahblahblablahblahblahblahblah

At least you got one thing right. Which I will agree on.

I mean if you feel MY OPINION is superior intellect. Who am I to argue??

Also I dont give a good god damn what CC toys recommends. Kaustic recommended the M35 body for their Conan which, again MY OPINION is WAYYY too beefed for how he appeared in the Conan films.

So how about this? You use whatever body you want and I do the same and you keep scrolling when you see my post like a grown *** man would when a grown *** man agrees to disagree? Okie snowflake?

It's the body OneSixthKit used for Jessica Jones, and I'm pretty sure it's a Xing. At least it matched the spare Xing I've since used for the Black Box Joi.

I decided from the start I'd use the S27B as recommended. I ordered two of the Ellie and Joel sets and two S27Bs, but because there will be quite a few spare parts left over I have a Xing (or Xing type) which came with SW Ourworld's Lara Croft 2.0 that will possibly make an older/taller third Ellie (using TS Toys Rowdy jeans and shoes).

For the Xing I suspect that the neck peg will have to be filed down to fit inside the the Ellie sculpt, since the S27B has such a small peg.

depends if they glued the rubber into the head might be able to swap a standard slot in.

You mean Redman's Ellie?

That was a tiny figure. Undersized for the game, but okay for the 13 year old Ellie in the American Dreams comic book.

Her legs are proportionally too short, so I extended them a little by putting white tack between her shoes and ankles. Also had to shorten the neck was strangely long.

you could also add abit of lifters inside the shoe to boost few mm height.

it does look big, but we haven't seen the body in it's full glory.

Quick eyeball for scale...
Keep in mind Baby Doll has high heels.

And Emily Browning is 5' 1"...

I think this will work/be close enough. [emoji16]

Now I just wish my set will ship.[emoji849]View attachment 469679

When I checked the Xing against Babydoll she was posed on her stand, so I just looked at height and shoulder width.

Found these photos on Ebay of her body:

s-l1600.jpg

She looks wide on the hips and fairly well 'built'.

But looking at your photo reminded me I should get some gas masks.

In the game Joel's mask doesn't appear to be modelled on a specific real world type, but is inspired by the S10 and FM12.

TLOU Joel gas mask.jpg

So I bought a couple of these from Ebay:

Soldier Story SF10 gas mask3.jpeg

They're from the Soldier Story SS112 Metropolitan Police CT-SFO figure.

As for shipping, KG Hobby gave me a tracking number two days ago but it only started to track this morning. I think maybe most stores are inundated with new stock at the moment and are struggling to keep up.

bahblahblahblahblahblahblahblahblahblahblahblahblahblahblahblahblahblahblahblablahblahblahblahbla I like my small ****ies on my dollies ahblahblahblahblahblahblahblahblahblahblahblahblahblahblahblahblahblahblahblablahblahblahblahblah

your opinion has just become repetitive and annoying now

Yup, definitely using the Baby Doll body.

honest opinion S27B is still the best in terms of trade off. only problem with it is the slightly bigger chest, and price.

I don't think the Baby Doll body is cheap off ebay and you end up with wider hips, which you won't be able to hide it or modify them.

Xing body might be the 2nd best option due to cheaper price, it's slightly taller & wider hip.

as for the bigger bust, i believe you can wrap them up real tight like how female Bushido dons them to look flatter.

as for now i'll just wait for you guys to try out the bodies.

I thought of that too. Which is doable, but I also dont want to waste a phicen on a fully covered figure.

I'll be able to gauge better once I have Ellie in hand.
