Thanks for the coke, buddy!!! I'm a cheapy. We are even now from Vegas, woohoo!!!!! :)

We are nowhere near even. Next time you are here, I am picking up the bill for dinner. You will not get away with that again. And a $1.75 coke is not going to cut it!

Didn't they drop some leftovers on the ACME site or something last time?

I would check DarkInk over the next several days, or PM Mark.

We need to get some of you celebration freaks to the big show next July. :rock

Josh just doesn't get it y'all. SDCC has become such a fiasco, it's even impossible to get tickets. Celebrations are run so much more efficiently and with far less fans packing a far larger space with hotels available, etc., and it goes on...

I know if SW is not your thing or your focus, that's an issue, but...

for my money! :panic:

I get that tickets for sdcc are an issue though to be honest the new system ain't bad. Getting around the con and doing things there isn't an issue at all IMO. As far as the fans I don't mind them at all it's part of the fun IMO being a part of the crowd.

I dig SW. I'd like to check out a celebration someday but I think some of you that have been to these y'all need to come to sdcc to experience that. That's the mother of all cons.

How about NYCC?

I loved it at SDCC!! I actually went to both in 2010 if you guys remember? That was where I met you so so briefly The Josh, lol!!! I would love have gone to both this year, but with work they only allow us a maximum of two consecutive weeks off during the summer months. :(
So I had to choose between this and SDCC. I hate choosing!!!!!!

I've heard good things about nycc. From what I understand it's not the level of sdcc though.

I still feel bad we didn't get to talk long. That's what I get for running later to a meeting. I understand totally. I can't go to this because I can't take off from school. I'm with ya choosing sucks.

I'm not trying to pick at celebration. I just would like to see some of you that enjoy meeting freaks there to come to sdcc and meet do many of us who go to that..

I have. After attending since 2004, then finally discovering Sideshow, then the board, I ended up meeting quite a few freaks there. Really enjoyed last year when I got to cross paths with you, my late night brother.

And especially dinner on Sunday night with Grue, Lonnie, Wetanut, LaMelnik, Jen, and many other fine folks. Really was an outstanding evening for me.

But still, there is a palpable fervor at a Celebration which simply cannot be matched at any other show, especially one covering so many disparate interests. Every freak you see in the photos in this thread are at the show with the same interest.

There's nothing like it! :lecture

CVII will feature a mega suite. I may sleep even less if that's possible.

I just sobered up from the 501st party....

And a stripper pole. Don't forget that!

I really need to make it to SDCC some time. I'm probably going to CE2 next year though so that will bump back the SDCC meeting another year. :monkey2

I've said it before ... It's a love of the Wars that created the bond around these Celebration reunions, it's the family bond that has kept us as one...

If I can I hope to go in a few years. I just want to go to enjoy it ... Not get sucked into all the exclusives and crap.

How about NYCC?

I'll be there Saturday !

I've heard good things about nycc. From what I understand it's not the level of sdcc though.

Due to it's location away from the Hollywood scene it can never be, but it is growing exponentially
