I have gone to every one since they started and it has really evolved.

I told Waller that the year he decides to go all days, i will do it !

Two things I need to do, go to a Celebration and go to NYCC

Oh and meet a lot more freaks in person.

We need to do something. How awesome would it be to plan an annual meeting somewhere for the core group? I know I am wishing on a star but I would love it !

When we're at the convention and see a cosplay hottie, we'd say "I'd tap that!" and pull out our camera.

For sure. One day we will return to the World of Beer and do things correctly. Correctly as in not remembering going to the World of Beer afterwards.

We'll tell the guy to bring two glasses for each bottle so we can double our efforts.

Maybe there's a badge for drinking 10 beers in one day. I did get that one for 5.

I've heard good things about nycc. From what I understand it's not the level of sdcc though.

2. Dragon*Con
3. SW Celebration
4. NYCC
5. WonderCon (with MegaCon now nipping at its heels)

There's your list. Everyone here should try and attend one of these at least once.

I didn't make it to C6 due to other obligations. But I went to C1, C3, C4, and C5 and will most likely attend another. Hell, maybe even the one in Germany next year. It's a great time if you're even remotely into SW. Probably the best single-themed conventions for sure.

Indeed it was. At least it appears so. And I know Cris was operating it with Daniels (and a costumed 3P0) that day.

This R2 was parked near his autograph line Thursday morning. He came out from behind his table, said "R2, is that you?" and walked over to it. I pulled out my iPhone and snapped a quick shot.

He came to the gathering hall every morning around 9:30 to say Hi to people and pose for photos. When the convention opened at 10:00, he was at his table signing autographs. Class act right there.

On Sunday, when he was walking back towards the main hall before opening, security stopped him and said he was supposed to be in line with the rest of us. I about died laughing.

I was amazed to see Daniels so out and about with fans, young and old. It was great.
