Holy mother of pearl it is gone now. Just double checked for you Waller. If they sold through their discounted allotment that fast... that'd be pretty friggin' unreal. Could they have really sold THAT fast!?

$109 a night for that hotel is pretty darn good. I know I paid more than that last time... I can't remember how much though.

Peabody was the other reco from last year. I think that may be the one you're thinking of.

You'll need to call them, though, because they're online system doesn't allow you to book that far in advance.

I Googled and couldn't find any info I heard the Peabody will go up on the hotel site next week. It's across the street from the convention center.

Just found this over at Rebelscum from CV. Someone posted this when rooms went live for CV, and I followed the instructions so this is what I paid.

"Go to www.rosencentre.com and click on Reservations. At the bottom of the new page is a link for Promotions/Special. Click there and the internet special and AAA special will be shown. Click on through and reserve the room. Keep it at 2 people per room and you should get $115 a night."

I don't see the promotions/special link any more though. Maybe I'm just missing it? I do know that Rosen Centre got wise an upped their room rates pretty quickly once they started getting booked so quickly. I remember Expedia had rooms there for like $124 at first and then they were at $150... $165 etc as they quickly got gobbled up.

I think it's just the Rosen so far, probably due to its proximity. I bet it's just the CVI rooms that are gone. I would guess they would have regular rooms available at some point, but it doesn't look like you can book any rooms this far ahead on their website.

We need to plan our plane trips the same like last time! Only this time we'll for sure know what each other's schedule and flight is.

I'm showing the Rosen is already sold out on the basic room and that is according to their own website. That sucks.
