Thanks Mark, Will. :)

I did some major joint surgery on Luke's arm today. I swapped out the elbow joint on the Bespin Luke so it would fit the light up arm on the ANH Luke...

Here are the end results....

Yeah, I tried and failed to get the ANH arm into the ESB socket. I for some reason thought it would just swap out.

Was it a lot of work? I'm wondering if it's worth it for something I'd only turn on every so often.

I did the same thing. except switch out the elbows the arm just fit right in with no problem

I can't get the upper part of the elbow assembly out of the ESB upper arm. Even gently with pliers. How did you guys get the whole elbow joint off in order to insert the ANH elbow assembly? IT feels like it's going to break if I go any further and I did try a hair dryer for a minute or so.

I just wiggled around with it until it popped out and inserted the luke light saber arm into the slot with out any mods done to it

You can't just remove the arm and swap them out. They are not compatible.

I removed both elbow joints from both arms. I then took apart the whole elbow joint, had to use a screwdriver to remove screws. I then rebuilt the Bespin elbow joint/bicep peg onto the ANH forearm. There you have it.

I hope that makes sense.

I am giving my "Kenner" Nikto a makeover. Redid the pants, new tunic from Master Enaud and a new body. Going to make new belts, pouches and holsters. Touch up headsculpt. New boots and coverings.

One of my favorite Star Wars figures growing up. :)

Damn dude I love the look of that one so much. I'd love to make one myself down the line but the helmet just looks so intimidating. haha
