I am giving my "Kenner" Nikto a makeover. Redid the pants, new tunic from Master Enaud and a new body. Going to make new belts, pouches and holsters. Touch up headsculpt. New boots and coverings.

One of my favorite Star Wars figures growing up.

Duane does do commissions. I'm sure he would hook you up if he has time. You should shoot him a pm.

I made the hat out of leather. The fur on the top is made out of a bath towel and painted. The studs on top of the hat are nylon acorn nuts I glued down to the hat before I applied the fur/towel pieces around them.

Haha thanks Chris. Red Leader is looking awesome. That head is actually a pretty good choice for him, same nose. I think I've got him as a Rebel mechanic.

Why are you not using decals for the helmet designs? I think it would look better/cleaner. They're easy to make too... assuming you have access to a good printer.

Yeah I know, thats why I said I wasn't really happy with the results. I just don't have access to a good printer at the moment.

There are some guys on here who will make up custom decals - you just send them the artwork, or they'll do it for you and mail it. There's also heat-transfer "iron-ons" for cloth.

Yeah, I have seen those. I just enjoy painting. Eventually I will get it to where I am happy with it. Most of these helmets are so beat up and battle damaged that you can hide some of the painting flaws with weathering.
