Who makes these? (Obviously not Dapol) :lol

A British company called Character Options. The Dapol figures will be rendered even more obsolete next year as the BBC has also given Character Options the green light to make Classic era figures. Wave 1 includes,

Fourth Doctor (Tom Baker) from "Revenge Of The Cybermen"---will include a choice of heads,1 with a hat & 1 without

Fifth Doctor (Peter Davison) from "Resurrection Of The Daleks"

Sixth Doctor (Colin Baker) from "Attack Of The Cybermen"

Sea Devil from "The Sea Devils"

Zygon from "Terror Of The Zygons"

SV7 Super Voc & D84 D Class Voc from "Robots Of Death"

Magnus Greel & Mr Sin from "The Talons Of Weng Chiang"

These will be in the smaller scale but I bet there will be some 12" figs of the various Doctors eventually.

Good luck!
I think that's one of the few figures I never saw or if I did it was only once and I didn't get it as I was initially only going to get 1 Doctor,1 Rose,a Dalek & a Cyberman. As my pics show that plan went completely out of the window and I've been so impressed with the quality of the line I'm in for the duration. I'm not bothered about every single variant such as those that have showed up in the recent multipacks but I'll try and get 1 of each character and will be getting a 2nd Flight Control Tardis to display with the Classic figures when they come out (roll on 2008!)

Yeah I'm not a completist but I do want the vast majority of the line, I just pick up the monsters I think are cool and worth having, unfortunately most of the monsters from Doctor Who are cool enough to warrant an action figure or two.

Very true. Have you seen the Deluxe Reaper yet JTR? My local Tesco have them in stock and it's pretty good. I think if I get one I'll hang it from my ceiling to save a bit of shelf space.

I've seen it, but not in person, just pictures.

I'm trying to skip most of the deluxe figures due to space, may well end up getting the Face Of Boe though.

The character is pretty important to the series since he appeared in four episodes and turned out to be Capt Jack.

The Big Old Face is well worth the money IMO. JTR keep an eye out for Grandma Connolly & The Wire,Evil Toby & The Hoix in local stores as theentertainer.com have them in stock for £8.95 each.
US collectors have another multipack to choose from this time a ltd edition of 300 6-pack from Newbury Comics that includes the Doctor in 3D glasses,a blue Clockwork Man,the rusty version of K9,the damaged Cyberman,an Ood & a grey Krillitane with opened mouth.

Just picked up the Slitheen/Pig and Jack/Jamie 2 packs and gave up on Cassandra and Chip as it was going off for nearly $65. Slowly but surely catching up.

The first time I lay my eyes on Evil Toby in a store, he'll be mine, even if it means putting him on the credit card. I haven't wanted a Doctor Who figure this bad since the Ood was released and there's no way I'm not gonna get him first chance I get:D

I'm going to get Toby in the Sanctuary Base set instead of the single release as I want the lift car & a couple more Ood along with the Spacesuit Doctor of course. Nice haul Memnoch, the Slitheen & Space Pig set is one of my favorites. Did you get my PM about the Rose & Chip I found on ebay?

Indeed I did, and slowly that's becoming more of an option. Someone listed another Chip and Cassandra set yesterday though so I'll be trying for that one once again. I probably won't bid until the very end though this time.

The newest Doctor Who figures are out in the UK, found Grandma Connolly and The Wire set in Asda tonight.

Sorry about the quality of the pics, camera wasn't charged so took them on a mobile phone, they're a bit grainy.

The Grandma Connolly figure is pretty impressive and the Wire tv set comes with a lenticular screen which changes from Maureen Lipman's face to the face of Grandma Connolly, with her essence trapped inside the tv screen like in the episode.

Really nice set from Character and I love the fact they gave you an extra accessory to hang around Grandma's neck.

They're really pushing the envelope with this series, will be keeping a close eye out for Evil Toby in the near future as well.

The Professor Yana & Master likenesses are very, very disappointing IMO and I'm hoping they look better in person which has been the case with one or two previous figures. The rest are nothing special and have me thinking that Character Options are perhaps taking their eye off the ball a tad.
The series 2 version of the Doctor in Spacesuit will have already had 3 or 4 releases by years end so what's the point of releasing the series 3 version so soon?
There are Autons aplenty in my area and I'm sure another repaint will end up warming pegs,a new headsculpt or attire would have made a better release.
Laszlo is OK but again little more than a rehash which leaves the Weeping Angel which looks to be the best of this latest wave. Character Options have been releasing so many great items recently that a drop in quality was perhaps inevitable but it's a shame that 2 much wanted figures in Prof Yana & The Master have turned out like they have.
It's not all bad though, the series 1 Sycorax Leader has just got a much needed rerelease & the first figure of Sarah Jane Smith is also up for pre-order on Forbidden Planet. It comes in a 2-pack with the Star Poet and will be in Sarah Jane Adventures packaging,

I'm not sure where I'll display the Star Poet but the Sarah Jane figure will go with K9 on my series 2 shelf for the time being though I'm hopeful that a "School Reunion" version will follow in a future wave.

That Master fig looks nothing like Anthony Ainley. :monkey5

I must get a TARDIS now!!!!!!

Or John Simm lol!
I'd thoroughly recommend the Flight Control Tardis pixletwin. If it was just a static piece that didn't do anything it would be pretty cool, but the motion activated lights & FX really make it something special.

:rotfl
Any good recommendations on where to get one?

They're widely available here in the UK but I'm not sure what US stores have them, somewhere like Big Bad Toy Store perhaps?
You could always ask Memnoch where he got his from,I know he got his in the US as I was going to get one locally & ship it from the UK for him only he found one closer to home which of course saved him quite a bit in shipping fees.

Pix, the place I grab my Who stuff from is www.whona.com not sure they have the TARDIS in stock at the moment though. BBTS is about the only other place I look for Who stuff domestically.

I got my Jack/Jamie and Slitheen/Pig packs today. Now I really do just need Chip/Cassandra. Also, create an account at Whona.com and you get better shipping and the like.
