Chris sent me the following via email on Friday, June 12th...

Regarding the House head: "I just sent out a batch, If you weren't in that then yours will be going out tomorrow or Monday. That takes care of all the unpainted."

Regarding the Maximus project: "He's Almost done and will be posting the finished photos in just a few days."

Regarding project updates: "That, and other projects I'm about to update over the next couple weeks are what I meant when I posted there would be a few "surprises".

I told Chris I was going to hold him to his promise to post pictures within two weeks. If Maximus was "almost done" two weeks ago, why couldn't we have pictures then? Why don't we have pictures now? I am giving him a few more days to pull his camera out and prove he has been working, and then I am pursuing things off the forum to get my money back. He is refusing to give me a refund until I see the product. If I don't see the product soon, I am going to take my money back.

Well 2 weeks has come and gone with no updates from Chris as promised.

Yeah imagine that.......This is what I have been dealing with for the past 14 months, promised deadlines and shipping dates come and go combined with total cessation of any and all communication.

The House heads are apparently done so why haven't all the people that ordered them unpainted received theirs within the past couple of weeks.

Just more smoke and mirrors from him.

He sent collector49 his sculpt because he was the only one here smart enough to present him with legal action. I suggest you all do the same, $57 isn't worth my time though.

And yet, there for a while I was the villain for posting so much about it. If the updates don't start rolling in soon, I am going to start talking again. And no amount of empty promises or pissed off Chris Howes fans will shut me up when that happens.

I think the funniest thing said during all this was when they labeled me as "impatient." I have been waiting for at least three months for photographs of the work. Photographs! Chris posted several times that photos were coming, and nothing ever came. In my world, when someone tells you they will do something without you even asking, and then they don't do it, it makes them a liar. And I don't like liars, and I don't do business with liars.

This thread is getting old and the complaints are all the same. How many different ways can you keep saying the same thing over and over and over. Apparently Howes doesnt seem to care what you all post here so why pollute the thread and keep bumping it up with the same old jiberish.

Unfortunately if enough people take that approach then he will continue to do this with no repercussions. There are places on-line that you can file complaints and it only takes a couple of minutes. I can send you the links or post them if thats not against forum rules.......

That is unfortunate that he would not even return/reply in the two weeks since he last addressed concerns. Even if the work isn't done, making some sort of amends when it comes to communication would have been nice.

I guess the first come first service business practice is thrown out the window? eh...

As we've seen in the DC section regarding the diorama's and such, each from the list gets theirs and slowly goes down the list as each one is completed/sold/despatched.
