I agree no one should resort to harassment. Ever. However, I do think this thread is the place to air our grievances and keep up-to-date with his progress or lack thereof, since the other thread was closed by bozos posting funny pictures. I want people to know I have now emailed him 6 times, and even used the "Hello" subject line he asks for. If we didn't air this out online, no one would have realized the broad scope of how many people he has taken advantage of. This info has to stay current, this discussion ongoing, so he is not allowed to just quietly disappear with our money.

Well lets keep it going with good info then.

Now I am curious if he has the "Hello" subject line as a filter now right to the trash bin. I sent him emails to both of his addresses but only sent the first one a week and half ago and the second one today, requesting refunds. I didn't use the "Hello" thing though.

I also send a email 2day. But my subject was " yo chris where da ^^^ my money @, gona smoke you fool" to my surprise he emediately replied and said he would borrow money frm his granny emediately 2 refund me. I will keep u guys updated on the situation.

My six have all gone to sculpt@ and info@ both. I've been trying for well over a month now. My first request was sent before the shizzle hit the fan online, I just didn't care for his House sculpt. The subject lines have varied. This last one I just did "hello" for the hell of it. I think he's stiffed enough people that he's just deleting everything that isn't somebody he wants to talk to or someone making an order. I bet if somebody contacts him to make an order, he'll reply. This is all just so absurd. I mean, this cat is my age, over 40, and he's acting like a petulant spoiled child. For someone that claims to be such a professional, he certainly doesn't act like it.

Chris promised me a fully custom richard hatch figure with swinging balls and nw it looks like it wont happen. Dam u chris, dam u.

Oh what? "Borrow money from his Granny?" Is he 12? Also where has the cash gone from all those other orders? Spent?

6Joker9's is bound to be Chris or one of his confederates, because he's trying to derail the thread with silliness.

Oh right. Thanks for clearing that up. Trouble is reading how some have been treated so far it's not that huge a step to believe really. :rotfl

If he's gonna keep ignoring refund requests then he needs to work faster at getting the product out. Only thing to do IMO

I said it before, but it bares repeating. The refusal to refund people who request one is the straw that broke the camel's back. In hindsight had Andgor sent out refunds when people requested them, they would probably still be around today. Howes really has no excuse for this. If he was sculpting someone's Grandpa or family member I could see the reluctance to refund as it would be harder to sell that sculpt to someone else. However he is doing celebrity sculpts. If someone wants a refund on House, give the person a refund and then throw the head on ebay. Someone who is in contact NEEDS to let him know that if he sends out refunds, most of the drama will be gone. People will still be concerned because of the wait, but when they see this good faith gesture they have some assurance that things will work themselves out. Ignoring the request for refunds only fuels the "he's a thief" fire and causes his reputation to get worse.

Exactly!!!

I did not commission him to do any custom sculpts celebrity or otherwise. I paid for the 3 Star Trek statues he has for sale on his website and am not the only one to have done so. These were already sculpted according to him and only had to be cast and cleaned up prior to shipping.
He is now offering one of them for sale on ebay with a quantity of 5 when people are still waiting for theirs over a year later.
Communication was fine until he lied about shipping them 3 times, once I could see maybe getting lost or mis delivered but not 3 times. After the 3rd time I started asking for a refund and as soon as I did that all communication stopped.
I have not seen one person requesting a refund post that he has replied to them. With his actions or lack there of what does he expect people to think!

Again it is not about the wait but about being lied to and stopping all communication as soon as the word refund is mentioned.

Now that is pretty damn shady.

My guess is that he simply doesn't have the money to refund people. That's meant to be an explanation, not an excuse. There is no excuse for this kind of behavior.

Welp, I will continue to send him an email once a week requesting a refund.

i feel like we aren't doing enough to give this guy motivation to get his ass moving. remember how they posted an article on his joker head sculpt we should submit a fraud article to the very same people or more notable collector sites. And since he makes his money from the "real world" he may have to comply after that because he wont be getting any more work unless he changes his name or facial structure.

Who the hell even opens "Hello" titled email? That makes no sense to me.
